Since both OLW and DK23 would like either A or D, and both prefer a different one over the other, I'd recommend going for your favored one and bam, problem solved, lol. Still, I'll send you all my thoughts on each.  |

So far, I'll be honest, it'd take some fantastically awesome work to take Concept B and C from Gris and Dionon. I'm speechless. OurLadyWar has sent me a solid Concept A, but I gotta admit I really love her Concept D. DK's Concept D is pretty solid as well. If he chooses not to pursue A anymore, then I'll take his Concept D and OLW's Concept A, but I'm curious to see what he could cook up with A. I've sent my thoughts so far, I'll give a couple more days for possible more interested people to mention their interest and send a concept in, and then I'll make the final picks, and we'll proceed to character creation rules. By the way, I'd love to see a picture of your characters, and a theme song, if you want to start working on that. I accept both Anime and realistic pics. Gris' own for his character, for example, is not Anime style at all, but I think it suits the character PERFECTLY.  There will be "free" LoEs for said additions. As you probably guessed, the theme songs should probably not be too happy, not even for Concept A, lol, although I could see hers being a bit more lively. ....For now. lol. |

So after careful consideration, so far, the chosen four will be... -Dawn Miller, as Concept A (OLW) -David Sullivan, as Concept B (Gris) -Marian Crane, as Concept C (Dionon) -Jacob Kurtzman, as Concept D (DK23) .......that is, so far. I'm giving up to sometime during Wednesday for others to send a concept in, and then we'll proceed. |

Well, OLW sent me hers right from the start, so I will be a good sport and say it's not that bad, lol. I initially wanted people to wait for two reasons: 1) not waste work on a CAD that might not be accepted because a better concept showed up later even though the CAD itself might be awesome; and 2) not have to redo everything because my house rules were not used in it. If you guys don't mind either, then go ahead and send it in, it'll save some time. Besides, you might be familiar with most of my house rules, so it might be easier for you.  Here's the big stuff; if more should be applied, I'll inform you guys via PM. -Durability isn't split three ways; I liked this idea at first, but it came into conflict with various things, so instead I'm using... -Energy Battery and Deep Reserves, which are both allowed as CL=MN+2 modifiers. First adding 3 to Max Energy per MN and second adding 1 to Regen per panel per MN. -Int.based Energy is allowed; so are Rapid Regeneration and 2x Natural Healing Rate. Anything more would be superhuman and not allowed as beginning characters. -Max Toughness 2 and Reflexive Dodge 3 for normal humans, as well as Mental Defense +5 tops. -Abilities: Max Intelligence is 8, but I'm not expecting anyone at that level. Aim more for a 6 tops. As for the rest, 3 is the normal maximum, but 4 is allowed; such a person would probably be known across town for it. -Close Combat is a CL=AN+1 action that comes with an Ability bonus AND Wpn.modifier. -Ranged Combat is a CL=AN+2 that comes with an Ability bonus and Wpn.modifier, as well. -General Knowledge has a free Efficient bonus -Attractive is a custom CL=MN+1 modifier that adds to all uses of Social Skills except for intimidate and the such; it represents physical beauty and attraction in general. +1 is prettier than most, 2 is very beautiful, 3 is model-level gorgeousness, 4 is nearly heart-attack worthy, and 5 is downright supernatural. -Presence is a 'stronger' version, representing sheer charisma and force of persoanlity. It is a CL=MN+2 modifier adding to all uses of Social Skills, period. |
