You are just coming out of a portal into a strange land when you see a figure come out the portal surrounded by others.

It's Mario!

Before you can even think you roar in anger, and tackle the unsuspecting Plumber to the ground.

"MURDERING SWINE!!" The massive King Koopa roared, pinning down his hated archnemesis on the ground, not having yet made it to the point where he should figure out how he got there and where was 'there' in the first place. "You have a LOT of nerve finding yourself in my path out in the open, you assassin... What is it?! Terrorizing innocents for the sheer fun of it? ...Planning your next attack? ANSWER ME!!"

10 stones into Roar (as Fear) to, well, roar at Mario furiously.

14 stones (Ef.) into Close Combat (Brawling, Inhuman Power, Fighting smaller opponents), to hold him down.

[Dionon]

"Beliso Bowsie!" Mario says angrily. Of course Bowser would turn on him the moment his back was... wait a minute... they left Bowser back in his kingdom. What was going on? "Bowsie?"

<"Damnit Bowser, isn't it enough that we saved your kingdom? You just couldn't wait to turn on us when our backs were turned!">

<"Wait... we just left you in your own kingdom... Bowser? Is that you?">

Action: Nothing but talking

The moustachioed so-named assassin's words sure left an impression, as the large turtle stare down at him, frowning:

"...Saving my kingdom...? ...Turn on YOU? What in the world are you even mumbling about?...", he asked, confused, before growling. "The ONLY thing you've ever saved is your own hide! ...Killing your own brother. Murdering people left and right! Kidnapping the sweet Peach Toadstool and vanishing without a trace! Ring a bell, you... you hairless ape?!... Don't play dumb with me!"

[Dionon]

That was it... Of all the things Bowser could have accused Mario of... "Negado!" Mario says "Pelido boscotti!" Mario says, a hint of the anger that he had for Bowser shining through.

<"Of all the low down dirty tricks you could have tried Bowser, this is the lowest!">

<"My brother is well alive last I knew, and YOU'RE the one that keeps kidnapping Peach you stinking turtle!">

[Manah]

The King of the Koopas blinked once, twice.

"......What?" He paused, looking at the man under his large clawed hands. "...You're not making a lick of sense... How is this a 'trick'? How the heck would I benefit from lying about something like this?... Your brother was my friend! Peach was like a sister to me! I could visit her whenever, and vice versa. I wouldn't need to kidnap her, and even if I needed to, I wouldn't go breaking the alliance with the Mushroom Kingdom which *I* made possible myself!"

He inspected Mario for a moment, visibly troubled.

"...B-but... you look... different. Far too clean... your eyes aren't unfocused and restless. You don't have that look of madness I'm used to see. You speak too formally and well..."

He slowly stood up, letting go of the plumber, but still suspiciously staring at him.

"...and HE wouldn't have tried to talk or cared to defend against my accusations. He'd have tried to kill me at all costs... You're not him, aren't you?", he asked, completely puzzled. "There... can't be two Mario Mario, can there?"

[Dionon]

"Nesida Bowsie...." Mario said standing up slowly "Litsina..." he says

<"I just left another version of you, and I've met another version of myself... so yes... there are more than one Mario Mario...">

<"However, if there is another version of me that's insane... We should work to contain him...">

[Manah]

(OOC: I suggest we wait for the update after this... and I just realized that there were apparently 'others' with Mario too, according to Lup's post. Which is funny, 'cause I think that's precisely when Bowser would have realized it too, too focused as he was yelling at Mario. XD)

Bowser

The Koopa King considered Mario's words, starting to get that something was really, really wrong.

"...Another version of... us? ...How is that even possible?"

Only then did he look around, taking a moment to try and figure out his current location, and remembering about the portal. He finally looked at the others around them:

"...Where am I? ...And who are you people?"

[Hoots Rowlet]

"We are the Avengers. We protect the world. Mario is one of us." Thor says.

[Manah]

Bowser

"I... I see", Bowser said on a lower tone than usual, visibly embarrassed and disappointed. "If... that's true... then you are definitely not the Mario Mario I am looking for."

The huge spiked turtle lowered his head, before looking back at Mario.

"...I wish to offer you my most sincerest apologies", he said, in a surprisingly polite, yet still loud way. "I was entirely unaware that... alternate versions... of anyone existed, and that it was possible to encounter one. This does not excuse my behavior. I should probably have guessed from the start something was off about you... I was blinded by my anger. I'm sorry."

He looked at Thor and the others:

"I still never heard of the Avengers, nor understand how there can be other versions of me and you, however. What's going on? ...And what is this place? Nothing truly resembles what I remember."

[Dionon]

"Halisio. Taligo montega." Mario says, explaining the situation to this new version of Bowser. "Palegro." Mario added, absolving Bowser.

<"This, is an alternate version of My world, Earth, New York City to be exact. Currently, we're tracking down the culprit of a massacre in an alternate version of your kingdom in another dimension. We're following a lead on something called Lexcorp, apparently the company that manufactured the robots that attacked.">

<"And don't worry about attacking me... If you had killed my brother, and stolen my best friend, I'd have attacked you as soon as I saw you as well, or at least tried to detain you.">

Bowser

Bowser nodded, listening carefully. He was convinced now that this Mario and his enemy weren't one and the same. Too many differences, too many strange things that didn't fit with what he knew of 'his' Mario. Also, the one he remembered was born in the Mushroom Kingdom, as was his brother. Not this 'Earth' that Mario spoke about.

"A massacre... in my kingdom from another dimension, huh. Well... if that's the case, then count me in. I don't really know what's going on, but you and your friends seem to know more about it than I could learn by myself in days... and I'll protect my kingdom regardless of what world I'm in."

<"And don't worry about attacking me... If you had killed my brother, and stolen my best friend, I'd have attacked you as soon as I saw you as well, or at least tried to detain you.">

"...Hm. Thank you for your understanding. I'll try and make sure from now on that I have the right one before tackling him to the ground. Bwahahahah!!", the large king laughed somewhat heartily. He did have similar manners with the Bowser Mario was used to deal with, but more polite, aristocratic, even.

The avengers quickly give you the cliff notes version of what kinda world you are in.

The Koopa King listened patiently, nodding once in a while.

"That's... very different from what I'm used to. But no matter! Bowser backs away from no threat, from no difficulty. So... you're here to investigate Luxcorp, right?... Then let's move."

[Dionon]

"Kelligo." Mario says, and looks to the others. He had no idea who was supposed to actually be in charge right now.

<"Lexcorp, and you're right, we should definitely get going.">
