Heh. I feel ya.
I'm re-working my Dick Grayson/Nightwing pitch, combining it with my Jason Todd pitch... and going to put together a CAD then.
I'm aiming for orphan-Grayson groomed to be the next Talon, goes Rogue instead (possibly inspired by rumors of The Bat, or just his own moral fiber).... Starts calling himself The Nightwing. I may CC you, to make sure I don't go overboard.

I'm looking for Bats to be at the start of his career, so he should be fairly reliant on "raw potential" at this point in any case. It's 5:30 here and I'm just taking a peek so I don't have time to check out my PMs for what people have sent me, but so far I've got OLW wanting to be a flapper Catwoman, DK as Batman, Dhark as... somebody, and SK as Gordon. Certainly enough to make a game of it, I would have been happy with 3.
If one or two more want to throw their hats in, I could oblige, because this game is going to have a lot of single threads and intermeshing stories, so it's unlikely I'll have to handle everyone "on screen" in the same scene very often.

A starting Gordon sounds too young to have place for a proper Barbara Gordon pitch. I'm personally thinking of Helena Bertinelli trying to get acquainted with mobsters to destroy them from the inside and get revenge on her family, or Harvey Dent as the charming district attorney.

Heh.
Went with an established Richard Grayson (The Nightwing)... defected from The Court of Owls.
CAD's in, but will likely need tweaked depending on DK's Batman.

I have plans for Two-Face. I guess I could preempt them in favor of a PC, since that's bit down the road. Babs Gordon isn't impossible, she'd just have to be a teenager. James Gordon (traditionally) was not a young man when he came to Gotham, having spent years as a detective in Chicago. You'd have to coordinate with SK some though, since you'd be playing "his daughter."

Okay, so after looking at 2 potential CADs, I've decided that 40+10 is a pretty good count. I'm giving slightly more to Batman so that he can maintain the mystique of being Batman. You're all mature players, so I don't expect that it'll be a problem.

Gordon on 40+10 stones? And one that is not even a Commisoner yet? I think I may have some stones left over.

I suspect Gordon should come in under 40, but he's no pushover in the "normal humans" category... traditionally Gordon is a military veteran with combat experience and not too shabby of a thinker himself.

... apparently Gotham has like 6 baseball teams. This has no relevance to this game or thread, I'm just flabbergasted.

What is wrong with having six baseball teams?

What is wrong with having six baseball teams? I'm not entirely certain that one city needs multiple professional sports teams in the same league(?)
