Though I understand where you are coming from as well don't get me wrong. But let me give you an example. Superman Caps at level 15 However the way they had his strength Is a 19! fuckin hell but makes sense. With his superstrength When he is lifting obect or liftig in general his strength stat is considered 23! 200,000 tons he can lift. How much more powerful could he get if he got XP? Right, but you're talking about a character who is several PLs beyond what the others are starting at. It would take them an enormous amount of XP to even begin to catch up (not to mention increases in PL). I'm talking about a character who, as far as I can tell, is built with the same number of points as the PCs. Both of the guys I would want to play (Booster and Nightwing) are PL 10. Poor Constantine is only PL 8

Its the peak at how the writers saw them fit. I never said you could not cause I am not sending anyone at you guy I know you cant beat unless plot wise there is a reason. That would be dick move on my end. As for XP just because playing a Hero already made Like either booster gold or nightwing dose not mean i will not give them. I have high expectations when you play those characters. Cause everyone has their own view and adaptation of how to play a DC character. From experience I have its gone wishy washy

Lol yeah But Do you know what I am getting at though in general, You want to be a league member or a hero of the DC world, I want to see you be able to rp with them with thier integrity. You want to be a DC hero I have high expectations on that (Not really just enough where I know your doing that character justice).

And then there were three...
Hello gspawn23. I have the DC Adventures book and hope that your post saying players will be "fist served" was a typo. :-)
From your intro, I think a new non unknown character would fit best into this "net the Justice League" game. I can put something together, but would like to know what characters we have so far, so I don't do something similar.

I'm playing someone that uses Time Magic (An Original Character from me, as I enjoy making characters)

Since Dionon has magic covered, I'll take SCIENCE! Merwyn Lembeck has always been made to feel different and isolated by bullies, because he's a very wimpy and nerdy guy. Seeing the rise of heroes, Merwyn put his science skills to work building himself a suit of bulletproof armor, so he could be like his favorite animal, the tortoise. Merwyn patrols the area around Jekyl Island, Georgia bringing the South's redneck bullies to justice while possibly getting some recognition for being more than a wallflower, (but only in his superhuman persona, so he does not lose his dream job at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center). (Motivation: Acceptance/Justice/Recognition) Complications: Secret/Identity, Obsession (turtles), Prejudice (jock/redneck bully/good old boy types), Quirk (nerd), Reputation (not taken seriously). I'll modify the BATTLESUIT stats from page 34 to add swimming and possibly the ability to communicate with turtles. (Aquaman, eat your heart out!)

A man who controls time, a scientist who talks to turtles and piss Aquaman off sometimes when trying to talk to him, Idk who WildKnight is yet, probably a jeague member. Though not quite sure yet at this time. Hmm that is three. Two more is a full party, depending on group if dynamic is awesome I may go for a total of 6. Anymore then that I will need a co GM cause damn lol.

I think I'm just going to play Booster or Guy Gardner 8)
I was seriously considering playing Krypto because the thought of playing someone whose response to conversation was to sit there and scratch himself amuses me (Krypto has near-human intellect, but can't actually speak)... but Andyman is definitely going to have "funny" covered, so I just want to play one of my favorite b-listers.

WK, if you want my opinion, as much as I like Guy, I think we should have an original character with a Green Lantern ring. Maybe you could play someone who actually believes Guy Gardner is the best lantern ever and wants to be just like him. Also, for the Tortoise I'm thinking he found alien powered armor in the ocean and modified it be turtle-like, as opposed to being able to build something like that from scratch. He did not turn it in to the authorities because those local good old boys are a bunch of corrupt creeps that harass Merwyn whenever he breaks the speed limit. So he drives very slowly all the time. (Like a tortoise.) As for Booster Gold...

Oh man I could not see why not. Thought yes Krypto the super dog can speak English because he was raised with a family for some number of years before teaming up with superman and the superman family. He only talks to streaky the super cat. Only reason why he doesn't is to keep his identity a secret and he is a dog so why not keep the persona up right? As for andyman this sounds like a Aquaman/Blue beetle mix to me . As for you Wild Knight play somone you feel comfterble playing with and know you will have fun with both in and out of character

I decided not to have Merwyn invent a way to communicate with turtles, but he did add an aquatic environmental adaptation and the ability to burrow into the armor he found and modified. (The armor may be originally from Apocalypse, which could be a good story starter.)
