Background: Power Rings just aren't for everybody. Case in point; Ashur Calvin. An angry teenager who spent a lot of his time in and out of juvenile detention centers, Ashur's parents believed that having him learn martial arts might help him to learn some discipline. They were right; and now not only was Ashur violent, he was armed with an iron will. Confidence turned into charisma, and charisma let a young man who might have just been another violent thug become a star in underground bareknuckle fighting. Ashur felt unbeatable... until the day that, unbeknownst to him, he stood in a cage across from a super human. He wasn't just humiliated; he was nearly crippled. While lying in the hospital, comatose, Ashur was given one more chance at life.

Nearby, a Green Lantern was killed by an unknown attacker, and the ring sought out a new recruit. Unfortunately for the Universe, it found a tower of Will in the form of Ashur Calvin.

Ashur is new to being a Green Lantern, but he's confident in his abilities and ready for to fight for justice. Only time will tell if he is suited to anything other than fighting.

Well I tell you what I will need one person to play a league member specifically to tie in the story. If you can find me one person who is willing to play as a league member then we can start till the other two slots get filled. For my story to make more sense in the matter that is what I need. Plus you need someone to take leadership role. Party so far is tecknically a Time manipulator, A battle suit user. And a Green lantern corp member.

Would it be possible to NPC a league member getting us together? I don't know what your story is, and I don't want spoilers. I'm just wondering.

There will be NPC league members on the side note of after your completed the frist story arc and come together then you see it them more commonly. Though A. Leadership would be nice to balance out the group dynamic and B. By reading that little bit will give you more of an Idea what I have in store out of character anyways. But in character know that is what it is. As for a league member to bring you together. I could do that if all else fails, or the fourth person wants a original character like you guys are

I never said you could not lol. But as I was building the story in my head and how it should go I would be like "Ugh Need 1" but if they want original characters it won't be a big issue. I will figure something else out. No worries. But Hey I am making no arguments cause we has not started the game yet so nothing is set in stone till we get officially started

How about if one of our original characters is already a member of the Justice League, granted a very new member?

Example: The Tortoise was happy to be accepted into the Justice League...until he found that his bad luck followed him. Soon after becoming a member, tragedy struck.

This could also have the affect of thrusting the nerd placed into a leadership position because he is the one bringing the group together. He'll have to learn how to lead along the way. Fortunately, while he's nerdy, Merwyn is a very nice guy. So no one really has any big conflicts with him and he helps to gel the team together. Plus, being a strategy game nerd, the Tortoise could come up with some pretty good tactical battle plans.

On another note Id like to start the game by at least Thursday. Make sure the character you pick is the one you want to roll with. When we get started we will wait till XP is issues before any change of characters or other stuff. So when I first make the opening thread I am accurate with backgrounds for no misinterpretation.

Well if a eternal out there (Wild knight or Dinion) would be ready to get this game going I would like to ask if they make a forum section to get it ready. That way we can post charaters that will be used as folders and I can get prologue of the story started for this game

Prologue: Its has been roughly Three years since the defeat of Darkside by Superman and the league. Since the time yes crime has not stopped but expanded, however controlled thanks to the league and independent heroes. However since that time there has been new threats in places in the universe as well as earth. Superman only took a small handful of pro heroes with to deal with the threats as Martain Manhunter is in charge upon his absents. Lately there have been unusual acts of rioting on earth. It is unusual that this is the first that the league is not exactly sure how to handle it.

Epotch: Connecticut's streets have been yours and only yours to protect. The people have mixed feelings but none the less respect how you are as a hero. Though this night is a regular patrol as you notice from where you are at there was a fight that breaks out that leads to a officers death, causeing the riot squad to come out in full force in a rage not known why. This was something new you have not encountered but knows this can get ugly fast!


The Tortoise: Jekyll Island Georgia Has never had a hero in their area before. This was a new adjustment. Seeing Bullies with guns became the inspiration to your identity and with how you have combated this crime has had the league's eye on you. You were sought out by non other then Green arrow to meet him in STAR City to induct you into the league by recomendation for what you have accomplished.


Ashur Calvin: The ring has chosen you and has brought you to Oah! where the lantern corps has trained you under Kilowag's training. Soon to be another hero of earth to soon be assigned to a quadrant of the galaxy. Though Guy Gardner has ask for a meeting with you and the guardians to contest that he should not be permitted to use the ring under the cause that he believes that you may one day may turn and become a red lantern due to constant anger issues and least of all fighting against other members due to civil words are extanged to fists.

Merwyn is nervous about his meeting. Oliver Queen exudes Errol Flynn cool, while Merwyn Lembeck is a nerdy Rick Moranis. At least it won't really be Merwyn Lembeck meeting Oliver Queen. Instead Merwyn is going to meet Green Arrow as The Tortoise!

Donning his battlesuit in the privacy of his hotel room, the Tortoise uses his armor's sensors to ensure there are no witnesses to spot his departure. He then rockets out an open window to fly to his meeting destination. In addition to radar, the Tortoise suit sports direction sense technology, which is very handy for a tourist in an unfamiliar city. Lembeck is very thankful he won't have to stop and ask directions while wearing a shell that makes him look like a giant turtle.

Merwyn checks his time sense technology to make sure that he's not running late and keeps an eye out for a blond guy with a bow who dresses like Peter Pan.

Tortise: Your scanner say that you will make it in less then 15 minutes. As you see the Emerald Archer on one of the rooftops looking down at his city while also looking at his watch. The new guy isn't here yet. Great!. Come on kid of all the days you could be late and for this I had to cancle a date with pretty bird. You can see he was a bit agitated and willing to get into action. Though he should have thought ahead of time of doing this since he was the to recommend you to the league. He was never a patient man, but hey he has to do what has to do.
