Okay, so atm my players have some down time and one wants to make a aircraft like the Black Bird but modified in a way with more weaponry. I checked the book at inventing but couldn't really understand How one would go about making a vehicle. How should I price out the crafting of a blackbird?

you would need to price the cost of the car (or outer) then follow the table based on whats on it. e.g (i dont have my books atm so all made up from my head)
Super car Speed 8(10w) (x2 common tek) toughness 10 (15w) (x2 common) Flight 8 (10W) (x4 rare tek) force-blast 5 -2x (10w) (x8 self made) cold exhaust breath (make road slick behind you or can freeze target for 4 str to break) (5w) (x8 self made)
total cost 20+30+40+80+45= 215 stones to build
so 215 stones later u have you car remember to o add a D&R to it to drive

It would help the math abit if we knew the players Intelligence and Inventing modifier.
But generally, allot of the stuff you can put on items, vehicles and other neat things, is not covered by the inventing rules or any other part of the rules. Like, what should you charge for crew capacity? So generally, many of the aspects are up to the gm to price.
First. Gather all the stones for the cost of the abilities, modifiers, actions, ect..
Second Multiply this by a set factor to get the amount of Invention Stones.
Thrid Invest a number of stones each day to reach the number of Invention Stones.
Here is my take on the blackbird.
Aspects Crew: 3 - 1r per 2 people above 1.. Just to throw a number in there.. Difficulty to operate: 3 - Not sure I want to price this since it also means; the higher it is, the higher Vehicle Operation your team needs. Resistance: 3 (0 with auto pilot) - 1w (its a bad thing to have high resistance, but it can remove this, therefore a 1w). Defense Mod: +5 - 9w (works like toughness so I priced like it) Vehicle Damage: 60 - 6,2w (Again, just a take on how to price this: 60 / 3 = 20r) Maneuver Mod: 8 - 25w (works like Reflexive dodge AND targeting, however you have to split the stones between the effects) Flight Speed: 7 - 12w (works exactly like flight speed). Weight: 9 - 3w (again, a aspect that is hard to price since its very situational if its a good or bad thing) RadarSonar: 9 - 12w (Seems like this might work more like sonar than Radar) Invisibility: +8 - 15w (works just like Invisibility)
Total Aspect Stones: 84w
Base Invention Factor Existing Tech you don't know x6
Usage - Permanent +6 levels
Advantage - Selfpowered +3 - Others Benifit +3 (in essence, people inside benifit from both flight and toughness).
Total Invention Factor: x18
So, this gives us a total of 1512 Invention stones.. I might have forgotten some advantages though.. And I don't know the characters intelligence or Inventing modifier, which will limit what can be made (max AN/MN of aspects is Int + Inv / 2)

Or if any of them have a wealth high enough to buy a private jet and modify it from there. That would save a massive amount of stones.

And time.. Don't forget time.. Since you can only invest your Intelligence + Inventing of stones each day into the damned thing But I seem to recall a house rule option that allowed you to add your wealth to the equation somehow.. Also, I once calculated how long it took for Hank Pym to create Ultron, and I think it was around the 300-something days.. So just give them a years downtime and before you know it, the players have created their own achnemesis

"and before you know it, the players have created their own achnemesis " Sweet, you can produce your own challenges stones with this ? Awsome, you could even invest them in even more inventing levels and therefore an even more powerful archnemesis. Also don't forget the added benefit that the 2nd nemesis 'll be known tech to you, so you'll heavfe him ready even faster then the first one.
