Just poking around to see if there is interest in this at this time. The premise is this; the mainstream Marvel Universe, a few months after the death of Captain America, a massive crisis will arise, requiring a super hero team-up of epic proportions. This is exactly the sort of thing the Avengers once handled, so a new team of Avengers is necessary. Who will answer the call?
Looking for existing Marvel characters, hopefully (though not necessarily) with datafiles already published for the game. For those who don't have datafiles (for instance, if someone wanted to play BuckyCap), I'm more than willing to work on a datafile with you. Looking for a minimum of 4 players, and up to 8. The first story will involve the whole group, but after that stories will likely be divided into smaller sub-teams. I am willing to teach new players the system.
If you're interested, state your interest and which character(s) you'd be interested in playing. For purposes of this game, I would accept one mutant (I'm not opposed to it being Wolverine, but I'd like to see someone else step into the Avengers for a while), and one "reformed villain" character, but I would like the rest to be from amongst the ranks of Marvels non-mutant (though not necessarily former Avengers) heroic characters.

Oh, and, while I think it would go without saying, sometimes it doesn't, so... I am only using the traditional Marvel Canon up until Steve Rogers' murder. Events going forward from there will be a "new canon" I guess. I might borrow, but won't be directly using, the events that followed.

Presuming Doc Strange is deemed OP... I could reprise as Tony.

Presuming Doc Strange is deemed OP... I could reprise as Tony. Yeah, Strange is just too strong. Obviously IM is fine, but remember... we'll be coming off of Civil War, so Stark will be anything but popular

Well I could pass on as any of the three right now just cause I know them all well and poop cause someone took spidey already, but that is okay with me. The three I would be open to play as: Daredevil, Rogue, Or she Hulk. I am open to other characters as well if need be

Doom is just too strong, otherwise he'd be a fun choice

I will be Playing Rogue! The southern Belle. She would be quite a interesting character. Plus in civil war she was hiding in the under ground and only helping those who actually needed the help and vanished as quickly as she could. It make sense. Plus after civil war her and Gambit have not been on any good terms and had agreed to separate for a while.

Doom is just too strong, otherwise he'd be a fun choice What if he were stripped of the MECHANICAL MINIONS OF DOOM power-set? Still too much?

Doom is just too strong, otherwise he'd be a fun choice What if he were stripped of the MECHANICAL MINIONS OF DOOM power-set? Still too much? Same problem as Doctor Strange; he can readily complicate a target out of the fight instantaneously.
