Even he who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night may become a wolf when the wolfsbane blooms and the moon is full and bright...
The Darkhold. The Book of Sins. Ancient artifact of Thulsa Doom's reign of terror in pre-historic Atlantis. Said to hold the true names of countless demonic entities. Origin of both the First Vampire and the lycanthropic curse. Perhaps no thing in all the wide world is so much a source of pure, unadulterated evil as this one tome. It is said that even a single page from the Darkhold holds enough darkness to devour an entire nation. The Darkhold's victims are countless, and those who would seek to use its power for their own purposes are legion. Surely, something so ancient and wicked, spoken of only in whispers even by those who hold themselves above superstition, must have long ago slipped into antiquity, forever lost...
Or perhaps it was simply seeking a new way to propagate itself, a faster way to disseminate its evil across the globe. Perhaps it merely slumbered, and oh, what a brave new world it has awoken unto. A world where ideas can be transmitted at the speed of thought, where machines think as men and men wield power as gods. The Darkhold's wickedness is without limit, and perhaps, now, as things spiral out of control, only those touched by its darkness can ever truly hope to hold it at bay.

Recruitment: I intend to take 3, MAYBE 4 players for this limited run game. I'm equally open to existing or original characters, though each of them should have some part of their character that touches on the "supernatural" world in some way. In particular, I'm looking for characters who are corrupted and/or vulnerable to further corruption. Characters who will have to struggle against their powers and the source of their powers to succeed. In short, characters with a high chance of failure.
I am not looking for CADs at this time, and I'm not providing a stone count as of now. If you're interested, PM me with a character pitch. I'm thinking the stone count will likely be relatively low for this, but I probably won't rely on a set stone count so much as an attempt at balancing the different capabilities and liabilities within the group.
