How much money are we allowed, max for our class or just the quick build stuff?

Unless I've misread this.. I'm getting a vibe of D&D+Battletech.. which is awesome! Incoming Half-Elf Blade Pact Feylock. I'm a little oldschool with DnD character creation, so would you mind rolling some dice for me? Your stats are in the response to your PM. Really like your idea! I've gotten a bunch of quality submissions for this already. I appreciate that immensely, everyone. That sort of hard choice is easier for me than the reverse.  (Also, I've never played Battletech, but from what I've seen/know of it, it's definitely similar.) How much money are we allowed, max for our class or just the quick build stuff? I'd rather you guys stick to the quickbuild stuff. If there's stuff you absolutely need for a concept that isn't included in either class or background equipment, I'll generally approve things within reason (Looking at the Cleric list, for example, if you want to trade the mace in for another simple weapon of your choice? Fine by me). |

Battletech/MechWarrior is one of my favorite settings of all time. Unfortunately the actual game rules... well, "suck" doesn't do it justice...

Overview of the pitches so far:
1 Tiefling Chaos Sorcerer
1 Dragonborn Fighter
1 Tiefling Bard
1 Half-Elf Warlock
Incoming/Pitched:
1 Dwarf Cleric (Hel)
I think I could get this together this Friday at the latest, so I'll make my selections sometime around... let's say Thursday at 3 PM PST (arbitrary, but it's when I'll get home from work).

I've received that Dwarf cleric sheet from Shazam, Dhark still has a submission in progress, I'll take all of you Thursday comes around and I get no further submissions. Anyone else want to try their luck? PM me! |

I'll be multiclassing into Bard so that will help a little with both 'rogue' and 'healer' rolls. Pact Magic interacts interestingly with regular spell casting in that you can use spell slots from either class to cast any spells you know from either list. It's pretty handy it is.

You know, a bit of overlap, especially with the subclass system in 5E isn't a bit deal. The kicker is keeping the characters themselves different, which is easy enough to do though simple rollplay and background selection.  |
