I'm tinkering with a "young prince in exile" take on Black Bolt. I'm also interested in half-a-dozen others, but I need to get my Spanish class out of the way first...

Last time I was tempted to care what you think I ended up killing a room full of eagle scouts.

Ok, then no, cause you cheated lol...wait there's a generator? Yeah but unless your computer is running an old version of windows you have to know magic to get it to work. Somebody talked me through it very slowly. Its on the board here somewhere, MURPG Character Generator. Its actually a beautiful little package.

You could follow that link to the generator... but trusting Sam has a way of backfiring on people. Note that his initials are "BS"

Is it weird that I suddenly want to change my mind and play Daredevil...despite the Ben Affleck movie being my only exposure to the character?

Although I didn't hate the Affleck thing the way most people did, so whatever. I would definitely say check out the Netflix show if you're at all interested in the DD character though.

Thinking Thor. Hulk doesn't translate well. First thought was Wanda but someone's on it. I hate that nobody wants to take on The Hulk. I don't want to do it, I just want to pressure someone else into doing it 8) I might take you up on that pressure. Maybe. My only real exposure to the Hulk have been the two solo movies, two Avengers movies, and a smattering of that animated Avengers show.

My only real exposure to the Hulk have been the two solo movies, two Avengers movies, and a smattering of that animated Avengers show. I only like The Hulk in theory and in a handful of things (almost never the comics), so exposure isn't a big thing to me... I just think that the "Frankenstein's monster IS Frankenstein" type concept has a lot of potential, and its always fun to have a guy around who is tremendously dangerous... to everyone...

Yeah, I think the interesting part of playing Banner would be developing his approach to the Hulk and how everything came to be. It could actually be interesting to play up the Frankenstein's monster aspect. Maybe he's experimenting with gamma radiation because it could revolutionize chemotherapy, effectively eliminating all kinds of cancers. He's accidentally been exposed to radiation and, upon discovering his newfound abilities, starts using them to his advantage. He's essentially immortal as the Hulk and uses this to extreme measure. The deeper he gets into the Hulk, the deeper he begins to lose his humanity and the less control he can have over the Hulk, as he begins to sacrifice himself, his soul, even, in order to achieve this corrupt form of immortality.
The approach I see with this is starting with a Banner that can freely transform between Hulk and himself (maybe using the Grey Hulk initially, since that seems to be a more "in control" version) and gradually building it up to the Hulk we've come to know today: a savage beast contained in a man who has a lot of troubles coming to grip with the realities of his vision and the damage playing God can have on humanity as a whole.
