Thanks for the checklist. I am looking forward to CA3, will watch Dawn of Justice, the others I am *meh* about and will wait for reviews. Doctor Strange on the big screen could turn out weird and wacky and maybe some fun or completely crap. Not a great fan of the character so chances are I will give that a miss.

I think there are six superhero movies scheduled for 2016. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice Suicide Squad Deadpool X-Men: Apocalypse Captain America: Civil War Doctor Strange The only one I'm seeing for sure is Cap3. Probably Deadpool, too, unless reviews are pretty bad - I'm just curious. Suicide Squad and X-Men look pretty meh to me, but if reviews are good I'll consider them. BvS looks like garbage. I'm not a fan of Doctor Strange, and I'm luke warm on the Cumberbatch, but I'll wait for trailers I guess. Definitely starting to feel the burn out on these movies, though. ~TWF

I... actually like that. Edit: The sequence where Batman takes down 'Two Dozen Targets' in a few seconds is excellent even if a few of them do fly across the room rather theatrically. The look on Supermans face as he tries to flatten the Bat and sees his punch stopped mid swing is also a highlight for me

I'm still not excited, but that was the best trailer yet.

Oh dear. Every review I've seen has the film as overlong, Lex Luthor as annoying rather than menacing, crash bang wallop fight scenes and humourless. I suppose we can expect most of this stuff after the Man of Steel but it's like Snyder doesn't listen or give a fook about criticism. I will go and see this (probably early next week thanks to working, rassen frassen) but having seen 2 and 3 star reviews (out of 5) I will set my hope meter somewhere near my ankles and if the film rates better than that I'll be pleasantly surprised.
The reviews do say that Batfleck is pretty good, which is something.

Don't know who thought Jesse Eisenberg was a good fit for that, but they ought to be shot.

No spoilers please! At least till next week, then we can all have a moan at the missed opportunity. Again. And the crap casting choices, hopeless dialogue, weak characters, overlong fight scenes, cgi that ranges from rubbish to barely passable, WTF style changes to the characters etc...
That said the current comic book incarnation of Superman has a public identity, just got his powers back after having lost them and is probably due a reboot to bring him back to the status quo of Lois Lane being the greatest reporter in the world who can't see the blindingly obvious in front of her face every day.
damn, I'm bitter and twisted in my old age...
