It looks utterly, exhaustingly joyless. U___U'

It looks like, if you take away the stuff that isn't Batman/Superman, it'll be a good movie. Not a movie I want to watch, but good.
Also, wth, do we really need to see Batman's origin again? Like, they might wind up taking up a good 10 - 15 minutes of runtime just to throw that in there. We don't need longer movies. Really. We just need good movies.

And yeah, I don't have much interest on watching this souped up version of The Dark Knight Returns. Oh yeah, also the leaked script!

I loves leaked scripts!
To put an unreasonably optimistic spin on it, maybe they'll just have an "Oh crap, you're parents are dead" flashback, instead of wasting time on it. Again. Maybe.

My most optimistic guess is that there's one of those flash-cut dream sequences where we only see a blip of it. Maybe that's where the scene with Batman being restrained by the soldiers happens and, maybe, how Wonder Woman and Aquaman show up?

I doubt it will be a short sequence, since I think that's Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing Thomas Wayne. He's a serious enough actor that they wouldn't have hired him just to see his face for 5 seconds; he has dialogue for sure.
Also, Wonder Woman looks like Xena in that costume, since it has almost no colour. I don't hate the design, but if only they could turn the colour back up.
Lastly, I still don't get why Bruce leaves his mouth totally exposed, even and especially in his anti-Superman armor.

You Canadians will just never understand. ... is it weird that despite being an absolute apologist for classic style superhero costumes, my favorite Bat-suit is the Batman Beyond getup?

Oh btw, if I haven't said so already... this movie looks exhausting. I'm sure I'll see it because I can't get over the hope that there will be a Superman movie that doesn't suck and isn't titled "Superman 2" within my lifetime, but nothing I see about this movie leads me to believe that this will be it. It doesn't look like a terrifyingly bad piece of garbage like DKR, either... just a boring, unnecessary, waste of my time and money

Latest trailer. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Doomsday and (somewhere?) a reference to Para-Demons supposedly?
Dunno. I will go and see it for sure, but I really, REALLY want to see Batman kick Supermans arse all over the place. Am sure he is mind controlled (the unmasking sequence) but Batman wouldn't be locked up for long and there is some suggestion that is a dream sequence anyway. The costume suggests Batman has been about for a while, retired or taken a break after Robins death (the sprayed over costume) and come back to challenge the threat of Superman (and he is a threat after the first movie, more or less flattening a city in his go round with Zod instead of scooping him up and flying to a desert somewhere.)
Anyway, hopeful this doesn't suck and blow. After the last movie I think Avengers is running out of steam a little and a Justice League movie could step in to fill the void if it doesn't stink.

Oh my, the trailer makes the movie looks even worse than I thought. Still gonna see it, because nerds gonna nerd, but... come on.

Also, they released a video of Superman's reaction when he heard a rumour about who was cast as Batman in his movie:

It looks horrible, TBH. Mainly Superman -- more of the same. Plus, Luthor-light? Ug...I actually like or don't mind the casting for Batman, WW and the others, but my negative anticipation for this movie seems to outweigh any nerd instinct that might compel me to watch it. I really think this is going to be a mess.

I think there are six superhero movies scheduled for 2016.
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice Suicide Squad Deadpool X-Men: Apocalypse Captain America: Civil War Doctor Strange
The trailers I've seen for Batman vs Superman look decently cool. The one trailer I've seen for Cap 3, doesn't. I'll probably go see both, eventually, but I'm not in a big hurry to see either of them opening weekend. (Maybe just so I can avoid spoilers. I know a jerk who looks to spoil things he doesn't even care about.)
Honestly, of those six movies I just listed, I'm not really excited for any of them. Maybe I'm just getting burned-out on superhero movies.
