OK, so I'm just throwing this idea out there for discussion.
What does everyone think to the idea of a Fairy Tail style game? How should it be run? What should characters be like? What should game play be like?
I'm aware that Fairy Tail has been used as a setting in other threads but honestly I've only just gotten into the genre and am kind of in the mood for a giggle rather than anything too serious. However before I propose running anything I'd love to have everyone's thoughts.

Fairy Tail seems like something that could be a lot of fun. If you ran it in MURPG then I think everyone basicly gets one supper power in the form of a mastery.

I'm in only if my character can kill off Natsu Dragneel... I hate that pink haired (EXPLETIVE) so much. He ruins the entire series for me.

I have just watched a few anime episodes of the series, and I didn't like the pacing nor how heavy-handed it feels in some of the aspects (running gags, fanservice) but the concept it sure is interesting. The wizard guilds offer chances for both political intrigue and all out fights, and the thematically limited gifts of each of the characters help making them colorful. All in all, I don't really like the original work, but the potential is obvious.

Also I don't think your character would be able to beat him seeing how he's a Shonen Jump main character. I'm not saying you can't try, Go for it Lup! But this sounds so cool I might join.(going to need help but still) |

C'mon, Reader. XD This is a game, not the actual Manga. Scenarists (or GMs) are only on Natsu's side if they... are. Natsu could be killed by so many characters both in and outside the Fairy Tail guild, it's a miracle he's still drawing breath. Besides, no matter his willpower, damage his internal organs too badly and he will die like anybody else.

Questions if this game does come up in the forum
1: Are we making are own guild or are joining an existing one.
2: when would it be set during the fairy tail story.
3: Are we only playing humans or could a monster join?

Good question about the guild, definitely open for discussion if I were running the game. My preference would be to set the game 100 years after the series to allow maximum creative freedom. As to monsters, well Loke was a celestial spirit, Happy, Carla and Panther Lily were Exeeds, so I'd probably be ok with one non human so long as there was a really good background.

I'm out. If there is virtually zero chance of my character hitting up Lucy Heartfilia, than I have no interest in the setting.
