Alright, now with my personal issues under hand, and me actually having a stable schedule (more or less), I have more initiative and free time, and I'd like to get back to something I've been meaning to work on. Namely, my own personal tabletop RPG.
What's the game? Well it doesn't have a name yet, but I do have much of the basics (combat, basic items, classes) laid out, but I want to try out the basics as best as I can before I start expanding it. No point in expanding something that's broken. So I'm looking for some help here to do some playtesting.
Basic gist: It's a simple (hopefully), fairly realistic game meant to replicate the Middle Ages. Players can play as pretty much any type of person from the Middle Ages. For this game specifically, it would be England, 1066, right on the edge of the war between the three kings (Harold Hardrada, William II of Normandy, and Harold Godwinson), in a small village near the Battle of Fulford.
So, is anyone interested in helping me craft this damn thing into something good?

How does this game work on PbP format?

Pretty much as it does in paper format, you roll 2d8's, and compare the result to your Attribute+Skill, and as long as your roll is lower, it's a success.
So basically, just make the roll, and make your post accordingly. Combat will only take minor modifications to that idea.
