SITUATION:HOPELESS!

Transported to a strange planet by a force from beyond the universe, the mightiest Super Heroes and Super-Villains of all have been gathered to fight the ultimate war! The evil forces attacked first, but were defeated, Piledriver and Bulldozer falling captive. When the villains mounted a second, sudden, surprise attack, victory belonged to the heroes, capturing Molecule Man, Doctor Octopus and Thunderball. It seems the heroes, under the leadership of Captain America are invincible, but are they?

It is now the Afternoon shift of Day 3. Please post what your characters plan to do during Evening shift and Night shift of Day 3.

First thing is first is to add arrows to his quiver that he used within the past few days. As soon as he was done Hawkeye goes to Captain America. "Hey just thought Id ask if I get a nap in this afternoon shift I would be willing to take night shift watch in the security room" he said to him. "Also be willing to have a second hero be on watch duty as well if need be since Thing could use a little time to recover" He added.

Iron Man had been in the mix for most of the action so far, which meant it was about time for Rhodey to take a much needed break. He had managed to find a room in the massive Herobase to rest for the night, hoping that the villains would not attempt to launch another attack so soon after their last effort had been thwarted.

HUMAN TORCH

Johnny relaxes, trying to find what passes for Alien video games, snacks and pranks to play on Ben and Spidey that he can in the vast Alien base. When it comes to monitor duty, he'll do his, albeit reluctantly, bored, and pining for company.

Hawkeye sets out to build another explosive and smoke arrow, but the alien technology in this place is beyond him. Since Iron Man went to bed, he'll have to find someone else to help him. Unfortunately, all he finds is the Human Torch playing a video game as an alien refugee named Zsaji watches Johnny Storm with great interest.

for Iron Man it feels good to take the helmet off, it was starting to give him a headache. Dozing off, he starts to have some weird dreams. [OOC: It's up to you what Rhodey's dreams are like. This is my way of allowing sleeping characters to continue to roleplay.]

Johnny throws the controller down as he just stops short of beating what he thinks is his best score though the numerals are in alien script and he can't really figure out whether he's doing well or the opposite! Rotating on the chair he flicks through a few screens showing the exterior of the place, then stands up for a stretch and notices the Alien from a nearby village for the first time. He glances back at the screens then stops and turns, jaw dropped. "Wha...?" he splutters before remembering who he is and he puts on his best smile. "Welll Helllloooooo there pretty lady" he beams, and descends into one of his tried and trusted methods for picking girls up.

Which probably fails, because of the whole alien language thing, but hey, can't blame the matchstick for trying!

Ben was in the garage, working on any remaining vehicles and tinkering around. He was still a little surprised by how much he had felt concern for Johnny showoff. This really bugged him. Hopefully he didn't know anything about it, if so Ben would never live it down.

Distracted Ben dropped a large monkey wrench on his foot.. Letting out a loud " OUCH " he regained focus and got back to the work at hand...

Hawkeye finds the Thing just in time to see him drop a monkey wrench on his foot.

Meanwhile, the Human Torch finds that he and Zsaji have an immediate attraction to each other. Unfortunately, that's when Deadpool enters, interrupting their moment alone.

"Yo, Pool, I'm sure there are machines about that can help you out, can't you see I'm making a move on the ... I mean, having a great chat and getting to know this lovely lady?" yelled Johnny. He couldn't take his eyes off the lovely alien woman, and it wasn't normally his style to get jealous or possessive. Realising that, he straightened up and added "Well, I'll be on my way, thanks for helping me out." to the alien woman. "Uh, don't go too far, just in case I uh, need more help."

As he walked to the control room with a smile and a wave he paused then added "I'll see you later. Right?" and inwardly cringed at how desperate he sounded! With a glance at Deadpool he walked away, determined to go find some bad guys to beat up on to cover up his embarrassment at being unsettled by a woman! Wasn't it supposed to be the other way round???

The next twenty-four hours pass uneventfully. [All characters heal to full Health.] Then on Day 4, the afternoon sky is darkened as a mighty starship, dwarfing the Battleplanet, appears in the sky. Only the Human Torch has seen it before. It is called Taa II, and it is the home of Galactus!

"Wha...?" spluttered Johnny. He sprinted to the nearest 'ALARM' or 'PANIC' button and whacked it, heading to the main battle room where people would gather once they heard the klaxon that would call the heroes to arms.

"THAT!" shouted Johnny to the gathered heroes (if/when they arrive) "spells TROUBLE! It's the world ship of Galactus! Things just changed from crazy but controllable to a time running out style disaster!!!"

Trying to enjoy what bit of excuse coffee was in the morning and checking his gear he could not wait to get home and end this. As the alarms go off he spits his coffee and changes into uniform and runs to the meeting area where Johnny was with bow at hand. Seeing what he was pointing at and saying its galactus's ship. 

"Great just what we needed now. First super villians we run into in witch we deal with on a daily basis and now a galacital being of cosmic power comes to our doorstep. Who did I piss off this morning?" Hawkeye said in total sarcasim and really wishing he stayed in bed.

"Oh... No! No!" Mister Fantastic exclaims. "He must have summoned it from the far side of the universe!"

Zsaji, the alien healer starts to freak out. The Human Torch doesn't know what she's saying, but he can tell the pretty lady is afraid!

Hawkeye wonders where Mockingbird is now and what she is doing. Clint is newly married and he would give anything to know if his wife is safe and well. Will he will die here in the war, billions of miles away from Bobbi? And even if the heroes win -- who is to say that the Beyonder will send them home?
