In a time of darkness one man dared to light the way the great Emperor Caesar. Having gained the favor of the gods our Emperor set his sight our to Unite the world bringing all into the great light of Roma. tho the darkness is strong and uses fear to fight at the very light of the world, our great Emperor is patient and will fight the darkness as long as needed to bring all of mankind into the light. You have been chosen by the great emperor himself to to fight the darkness and unite mankind, tho some will feel unworthy of this honor and burden buy the great task before you, know that our great emperor trust you to bring light to the world.
It the great age of the Roman Empire, In a age of Magic,Gods,Monster and man you have been chosen (or taken) for you gifts to fight for Caesar.
Hoping for 3-5 people (tho i can change things if i get more)

MOM max AN of 5
if you die in the game during a ark you can make a new hero to join in on the next ark or find a way to be revived.
only hero I want to try and avoid any 1 using is "Hercules"

Are we choosing any legend? I ask because we cant be Hercules which is a Greek creation not Roman. Im interested.

Actually, the Greek version is Heracles. Hercules is Roman (other than the name change the storeys are basically identical). But I would like to know the answer to his question are we to use only roman mythology?

you can be any "real" hero or any legendary beast or the legendary beast might be your super hero name you might be a guy with one eye who can shoot red lazier named cyclops if you want and even be the greatest of granddads to the "real" Scott Summers, even if you idea does not fit i'm sure we can easily change the world to fit it.
And again i only want to try and avoid using him (mostly because he is still alive in the year 2015 and such tho if you are a true fan and want to RP him your free to make up a ruff cad and see where it takes you)
i'm not a Big history buff myself, so you can expect events we know happening in different time then the year 140-177 BC to happen in this RP for no real reason then to get the story to work. if this might bother you then you might not want to get involved now, tho as this is a different world you could argue that history is different as this world has mutants magic and gods.

I am a bit of a mythology buff myself.... But this still did not really answer the question can we take the legends from any tradition or only Roman traditions? Also there are numerous characters out of this time period who are still alive and kicking in the marvel universe. (Athena, Zuse, Ares) just to name a few, you want us to avoid any existing character?

well i said you can Be any "real" (Achilles,Perseus,Beowulf,) hero or legend (Hydra,Dragon,Sphinx) so yes you cold be people from dynasty warriors/Egypt myth/Norse myth if you have a reason for them to be in the area, most the out of time characters are well gods and will kinda always be out of time, it not like the minotaur or Blackbeard or the manticore or ect are still around in 2015, even most half god are not kicking in 2015, so it was a preference, this version of the god will be vastly different then marvel main cannon.

mastery of magic
so with MOM maxed at 5 you can still get all you magical actions at 10 but it limits the knowledge of mage you are. and at this point in time I want magic relatively unknown i was thinking of 3 but so far i'm sticking with 5.
