(First of all ignore the title, contrary to title this game will not involve Dice)
The World of Akame ga Kill is an interesting if Harsh setting. In a world where an oppressive Empire runs roughshod over everyone in and around it's borders. A small group of Assassins have dedicated themselves to aiding a revolution by killing off the corrupt nobility and wealthy who have made this world such a hellhole to live in.
I'm not very good at describing settings so I suggest you watch the anime or read the manga, unless one of my friends can explain the setting for me (hint hint Manah... Lol JK)
Basically in this game you would be a team of assassins... normal humans abiet armed with specialized weapons/items called Teigu that grant special abilities.
Is anyone interested in what I have to offer so far?

Okay perhaps a bit more information is needed. Hear me out.
The world of Akame ga Kill is a dark and dangerous place. Inside the Imperial Capital corruption runs rampant as the nobility, and the rich run roughshod over the lesser populace. They torture, violate, and kill with impunity. The Emperor is a naïve child manipulated by the evil Prime Minister. The military is dominated by a sadist social Darwinist who is the strongest warrior in the world, using the corruption as an excuse to crush rebellion, and wage wars of expansion.
The land outside the empire is not much better. In addition to the harsh taxes keeping most communities dirt poor, powerful monsters called Danger Beasts roam the land ready to chow down on many an unprepared traveler.
Yet all hope is not lost... a revolution is waiting in the wings ready to rise up and overthrow the Empire. It's most elite and secret branch is Night Raid. The shadowy group of Assassins sent to take out the worst of the worst the Empire has to offer.
You are part of this group. Sent on dangerous missions to kill the wicked and corrupt. Risking life and limb on every mission. Knowing that if you die there is no coming back.
This is not a game for the faint of heart. Characters will die. Anyone including the players can be killed at any time. No matter how safe you may seem. No matter how beloved you are. Or how much worse your death would make everything. In this game. We play for keeps.
Now onto the main gimmick of Akame ga Kill... The Teigu
Teigu (Imperial Arms if you watched the dub) Are weapons and tools made during the golden age of the Empire 400 years before the story. There were rumored to be only 48 with several missing or lost from time. (However for the sake of this game that isn't an exact number There could be more or less depending on what is needed for the game) They come with great powers, and thus are highly sought out by both sides.
Basic ideas... I'm thinking 30 stones +Unlimited Challenges for your character. With an additional 20 stones to build your original Teigu (I recommend you follow the spirit of the show, and build both a power for it, and then a trump card (Ie a special backup ability that should only be used as a last resort)
no non-teigu superpowers. No excessive house rules. I wanna do a pure MURPG campaign for once.
also while I won't disallow playing as characters from the show. I don't encourage it either. I want to run a game with mostly OCs to avert putting myself in situations where I would favor certain characters to die over overs.
and one more thing. Since this a game where your characters could die any time... Please prepare backup CADs for just in case.

I have never watched the Anime, but I am interested in the basic premise. I am wondering, however, how you want those items built, could we get an example? Where is Intelligence capped for humans for the game? Where is Durability capped for humans? Can a character have multiple Teigu, totaling 20 stones?

So 4 is the normal human max for Stats. Excellent. I hope to see some of the anime here soon. My family is on a beach vacation, so my access and time are intermittent currently.

Sure thing. I'm looking for a minimum of 3 players. So we seem to have two so far because I have not heard back from the first guy.

If you'll have me, I might be interested, even though I'm not a big fan of dying and not coming back... made me very sad as I read the manga. XD
uestion... are the 20 stones we get for the Teigu all the stones we get for the Teigu, or can we burn some character stones to make our Teigu slightly stronger?

You can use your challenge stones to further boost it, or your character. Your choice.

Okay. Thanks. I'll try to think of a couple concepts and work some of them out.

Also, are Energy Battery and Deep Reserves as CL=MN+2 modifiers a thing, or do you consider them as 'excessive' house rules here?

It depends on the character I think. I'd prefer to treat it on a case by case basis... Though I'd be more willing to allow it if you dur or Int would only provide a single digit number of stones. Otherwise... +2 is fine for each.

Okay. Thanks. Well, I'll put it on the CAD if I think it fits the given character concepts, and just let me know if you don't like the results.

Out of curiosity, you mentioned "With an additional 20 stones to build your original Teigu", which made me wonder... will the possibility to be using more than one Teigu exist for one or some or all of us? Will we be able to possibly recover Teigu from defeated foes and use them for ourselves or will they be sent away to the Revolutionary Army like in the manga?
