Pokémon: Dimensions
Waking up and shaking you grab at the blanket around you and pulled it tighter. The patrols came by again over the night. There were less people sleeping in the streets today. They must have grabbed some more last night.
You get up and stretch, looking around the wreck of what was once a house in which you slept in last night. Who once lived here? You can’t remember. A doll’s head peaks out in the corner between some charred lumber. Perhaps a little girl.
As you gather your things and make your way out of the building, the remnants of last night’s battle litter the ground. Scorch marks and dug-out earth. Craters as well.
Whether or not they nabbed the illegals, it was one heck of a struggle. Perhaps their investigations were now over. What could happen next?
Wait…
Today’s your birthday. You totally forgot. Today you could have become a trainer; but that was before they came. Before they put a ban on it. Before your world was turned upside down.
----------------------------------- - So I’m just checking to see if there is some interest in a post-apocalyptic Pokémon game similar in nature to how Avatar: The Last Airbender had the Fire Nation invade the world. - In this world Pokémon training is illegal, and punishable by death. - Anyone interested? Lemme know and we might pursue this.

Well that was a dark opening. Sure, I'll take a swing at it.

I'd take a go with it but would it be possible to play as a Pokemon? That could bring another side to the story. I love Pokemon but I'd rather play as one then a trainer

Well that was a dark opening. Sure, I'll take a swing at it. Ok. We'll see how much interest is gained. I'd take a go with it but would it be possible to play as a Pokemon? That could bring another side to the story. I love Pokemon but I'd rather play as one then a trainer I'd like to say yes... but it depends on which one.

I'm interested. But I'd like to see some rules, and maybe a sample CAD or two before throwing my hat in the ring.

I would like to see the build first if we are going to have powers or Pokemon with powers you and I need to discuss how that will work so there are no misunderstandings like last time.

There are a lot that I like so among them would be. Lucario (would be my first choice but can also start as Riolu and evolve later) Umbreon Absol Ninetail What say you These don't seem too bad... but I'd like to do pre-evs before evolved forms. I'm going to be starting Pokémon out at "lvl 5." I'm interested. But I'd like to see some rules, and maybe a sample CAD or two before throwing my hat in the ring. I would like to see the build first if we are going to have powers or Pokemon with powers you and I need to discuss how that will work so there are no misunderstandings like last time. Rules will be coming soon, but will somewhat barrow from Meph's game. but interested and a little explaination on why training illegal? I mean it is kinda dog fighting on steroids sosoooo? In Character: You're not exactly sure why. Rumor has it that years ago (before the land was ravaged) some scientists opened up a portal into another dimension. Whatever (or whoever) came through devastated anyone and everyone in this land (especially trainers), before claiming this land/dimension for themselves and seating themselves as "Emperor." You're not entirely sure who (or what) this Emperor is. Only that they are referred to as such. Once seated on the throne (after pretty much wiping out all the known trainers) this "Emperor" declared that catching and fighting Pokémon was immoral and therefore illegal and punishable by death. Anyone not affiliated with him or part of his special strike team (Judges) in possession of any trainer related gear are sentenced by these "Judges" in a way that they seem fit. OOC: Think Pokémon set in the Avatar: the last Air Bender world (if the Fire Nation took over) mixed with a little rebellion era Star Wars, and you have the setting.
