Description:
-Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Percival Sullivan comes from a long line of Druidic Shaman who specialized in preserving the sanctity of nature and its wildlife. Over the centuries, many of these shaman were known for calling upon the strength of beasts and utilizing such creatures in combat against those who would threaten the very sanctity of nature. Although they were once a proud and noble people with traditions and customs, the years brought neglect, and unfaithfulness to their tribe. Many of their descendants forgot their customs and their powers were lost to time. Many of these descendants even went as far to claim that the stories of their ancestors were just that; stories, including Percival's own parents. However, Percival wasn't convinced. He grew up with the tales of the greatness of his family's tribe and how great Shamans would protect their homeland with their gifts and the aid of their animal companions, or familiars. The young man decided that, secretly under the tutelage of his grandfather, he would learn what he can about his people and try to keep traditions alive. Although he didn't have powers, he learned the finer points of hunting, tracking, and wilderness survival, as well as combat, and how to become friends with various wildlife. After years of training, his grandfather died, but Percival (Also known as "Percy") would spend most of his days in the wilderness, feeling that this was the best way to honor his teacher. He spent his time there for days, and even weeks at a time, camping, hunting, tracking, and even driving away the occasional poacher or hunter from time to time.
For quite obvious reasons, his parents did not approve of this behavior. They found the notions that were given to him by his grandfather to be silly and fanciful, and they tried to force him to live what they deemed a normal life. But every scheme and plan failed as he would find himself in the midst of the wilderness again and again. When his mutant powers first manifested at age fifteen, he was driven even more to live in the wilderness, and ultimately decided to live there for months at a time. At first, the young man didn't even notice that he had a gift. He assumed that his enhanced senses were the product of hard work and training; that it, until, he began to see various colored orbs of what looked to be blue fire, everywhere. It was a rather baffling and slightly terrifying event, and yet altogether exciting. At first, he thought that maybe these were druidic spirits of nature trying to communicate with him, and it wasn't for a few months that he even realized that these orbs were inside people and animals. That was when he found him, an adult siamese cat seemingly lost and abandoned. He instantly found a connection with the creature, deducing that they both felt at home with each other because they were both misfits. He ended up naming the cat Zero because he knew nothing about the little guy.
At first, his parents had an issue with their son bringing this cat home, but they realized they could use this to their advantage. Percy felt comfortable around the cat and would even go out in regular public, but only if Zero was with him. So they got Zero status as a service animal by registering him as a therapy cat. However, even this was not enough to keep the young man from constantly leaving for the woods. Suddenly, and without warning, the family moved to South Beach Miami due to "occupational purposes", his parents called it. Percival opted to stay in Huntsville with Zero in the woods. That didn't fly with his folks and he was forcibly taken into police custody and brought to their new home. Begrudgingly accepting the fact that he is still under his parent's care, he accepted his fate and enrolled in school, not to mention he was court mandated to after the most recent fiasco. His parent's pleased with the current results, also enrolled him into the "Higher Learning Program." Percival doesn't really want to think much of it. He just wants to get his last couple of high school years over with and then go back to living his life the way he wants to.
Percival an intelligent and enthusiastic soul with a love for nature and a fasciation for the old ways of his family legacy. He feels that being outdoors is the best way to connect to his ancestors, especially his grandfather who he was quite fond of. He has no care for societal norms. High school bores him, the idea of a job makes him cringe, and he doesn't even care for clothes. He also has a fear of tight spaces and gets very uncomfortable around crowds and strangers. Despite all of this, he sucks it up because of Zero. Although being a therapy cat was just a way for his parents to manipulate their son, Zero does wonders for the young man's nerves. He even enrolled in a couple of extracurricular activities. However, Percy is still Percy. He prefers solitude and will not go out of his way to meet people. He can be rude, lack common etiquette, and even be rather fickle and finicky at times. He has even been known to remove his clothes whenever he gets the chance, usually just in the woods now. But, like a cat, if you really take the time to get to know him, he can be quite the companion.

Description:
-Not too much is known about the odd little Siamese cat known as Zero, hence his name. However, he is not your typical cat. He's got a little more intelligence than your average feline, and can almost seemingly understand human speech, although he obviously cannot speak it. However, like an actual Siamese cat, he does have his own language and can communicate his feelings in over 100 different sounds, like his breed can do naturally. He is also stronger than most cats, but not noticeably. What is really impressive is his quickness. The little guy can outrun most humans and even keep up with some cars, and his agility and climbing are just as impressive. His claws also cut quite deep for a generic house cat. Percival doesn't really give it much though however, he just cares for him all the same.
Zero has quite the personality for a cat, and displays it rather demonstrative. He is finicky, temperamental, and can be downright goofy, but he is well trained and well behaved, and easily fits in the role of a service animal whether he realizes if that's what he is doing or not. He's very much like his best friend Percy, and is a lover of the outdoors and just running around. Unlike his partner, however, the little guy can be very friendly. He seems to be able to sense when a person is nice or mean, but that is just speculation on Percival's part.
