Just curious how many people here are familiar with Warhammer enough to have an interest in a possible Deathwatch inspired game?
I ask because I watched a video today showcasing a Narrative Deathwatch Campaign on the site Miniwargaming, and I had thoughts of trying to adapt the setting to MURPG.

I've already played a narrative warhammer game. Me and my friends were part of the Deathwatch. Was pretty cool!

so how would it work on murpg? I've seen the tabletop figures at a friend's house. But never actually played it before. Marines vs Orcs vs other Chaotic forces?

Just try and stat up the various characters and creatures with MURPG rules. That's pretty much all I have right now.

There is an actual RPG setting you can play with dice. That can make a good base if you are interested

Meph: I would look into that, but I don't exactly have the money to buy the books (Plus I have reservations about trying to buy them online as I doubt my local comic store has them.)

Careful, Meph, that law is more severely enforced in the United States than it is over here. Just make sure it can be done before doing it. ^_^

Piracy aside, cool idea. WH40K is a fantastic setting. The conversion work might be more extensive than you're expecting, but... well I personally at least, absolutely love 40K

Despite my lack of knowledge of the subject, I really enjoy learning new things and subjects. I know a little bit about Warhammer40K, but from what i have seen, Space Marines are cool. So I'd be into this.

I'd be really interested to know what you have in mind. I think the game would be really difficult to do well due to the background.

My apologies for the long silence. I kinda realized I needed to put more effort in this than I thought. Frankly I'm shocked so many people were willing to comment on this.
Basically it would be an MURPG version of a Narrative Campaign I have been watching... The players would be a kill team of Marines from various chapters on a mission to an Adeptus Mechanicus (For those who don't know. They are basically the guys who build and maintain most technology in the 40k Imperium) Forge World on behalf of the Inquisition to investigate claims of Heresy. Being the Deathwatch. You're not just in to do dectective work, as the planet has also fallen to numerous Xenos (alien) races while the Mechanicus fights tooth and nail to reclaim their world.
