Just a general interest check; would anyone be into a game based on either the DCEU (the current DC movie universe) or the CW "Arrowverse"? In either case the game would be building its own canon starting with the most recent completed material (so Justice League for the movies, or LAST season for Arrowverse), and all characters would have to be characters who have not yet appeared in the canon, but are actual DC comics characters (if obscure and/or heavily re-imagined). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Arrowverse_cast_membersThe above appears to be a pretty exhaustive list. Ignore characters who appeared in Supergirl or any comic tie-ins or animated shorts, since Supergirl and The Ray take place in alternate universes, and I haven't read the comics or watched the shorts, which makes them irrelevant. In addition, any dead character would be up for resurrection or re-casting as a new character (a good example would be Firestorm, who was on Legends of Tomorrow and is now gone, leaving room for a totally new version of Firestorm).

I'd be up for Arrowverse for sure, I like/love in different degrees all of their series, so I like their world/tone. The DCEU is a dreary and unwelcoming place I don't like though.

I'm not very familiar with both of these universe but I'd be willing to join in, only I'd need maybe a few suggestions as to which character is availlable And what you mean by not appeared in the Canon. Because I'm not sure what you consider canon.

Because I'm not sure what you consider canon. By canon, I mean what's already been established by the movies or TV series' The Arrowverse has a pretty extensive list of characters who have appeared (though some of them, like Superman and Supergirl, don't count because only alternate-universe versions have appeared, so those characters actually from the Arrowverse are still available), but it also leaves a lot of favorites wide open. Bruce Wayne has been mentioned but never appeared, so far as I know they've done nothing with Amazons, etc.

Thanks. Then could you send me a list of the characters? Or a link to a list so I could check them out?

I'd also like to hear the thoughts of people who are interested, in the direction for this. Since it seems to be leaning toward Arrowverse ATM, the Justice League is obvious, as the Arrowverse doesn't have one, but I'd totally be up for picking an unused city (like Metropolis or Gotham) and doing a story that's smaller in scope, like they've done with Arrow and Flash, or something a bit more off the wall, like the Outsiders.
Titans is sort of off the table since there aren't enough established heroes for a fully realized "second generation" story just yet.

This list should work, it's a pretty long one though: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Arrowverse_cast_membersTake note that while Arrow, The Flash, Constantine, Vixen and Legends of Tomorrow take place in Earth 1 (mostly) Supergirl takes place in Earth 3. Black Lightning was said to be left alone for now, but they namedropped Vixen and Supergirl on the last episode, so they at least exist, even if maybe as fictional characters (as other characters from other series tend to mention even Marvel characters). I like both the city and the JL approaches, but I'm on the phone and is a pain to elaborate.

Yeah, as I said, Supergirl wouldn't be taken into account, as that's an "alternate universe" (as is whatever Earth the stuff with The Ray happened on), so there's room for versions of all of those characters in "this universe" as well. Even Jessie Quick, who is in Flash but from an alternate Earth and primarily operates there, would be a possible character, since she should in theory have an equivalent on Earth 1.

First thought: Interested. Broadly for the same reasons WK said. It's dreary and Unwelcoming (aka dark and foreboding).
Second thought: I suck at playing cannon characters, basically because I don't know 'em so struggle to get into character. A new version of firestorm might be kinda cool given that the only thing you really need is fire based powers and the name 'Firestom'.
Third Thought: GCPD Cross-over potential?

Yeah, Arrowverse fo sho. I’m down. Aside from what Gris said, I don’t much like over-powered DC conversions into MURPG. Street level-ish, though, would be fun.

Yes please. If you're up for some world building, Flashpoint is a thing in Arrowverse as are the multiple Earths, so there's no reason we couldn't if we HAD to start from scratch or take creative liberties with some characters. Even as an unabashed DC fanboy, I have to admit Justice League was... not great.

Even as an unabashed DC fanboy, I have to admit Justice League was... not great. I really don't want to start from scratch. My entire idea here is to have an established "pre-canon" to build from (though obviously since I don't know where either of those universes is going, I'm going to diverge significantly from there) I know I'm alone in this and I really don't care; I liked Justice League a lot. It was awesome seeing Superman actually be Superman for once. It had issues, but a lot of them (like an incredibly generic and boring villain with an incomprehensible and/or downright stupid plot) were issues that several really good super hero movies have also had. By no means am I suggesting that Justice League rose to the level of, say, Winter Soldier, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable
