Mildred tried to take that all in, but the whole deal was way out of her zone of expertise and Christopher's state of mind didn't help either. He was visibly angry, and that not only added to his usual verbosity, but also created a rift between him and their superior. "So we got a room that eats people, how very Gotham of it" she stated, trying to grasp the very core of the situation with her usual levity, but perhaps it wasn't the moment to try to downplay the situation like that.

Every time he feels like he understands what’s going on crap just gets weirder. Jon listens what’s going... “Wait I’m sorry the room might be eating people?” He was honestly confused not putting it past everything that the room was sentient and eating people.

Mildrid is being facetious, but it is the case that most of the people who go in there do not come back out into this house, and there is only one mundane exit.

"I can kinda relate to a people eating room, even if it's been a while" Mildred added with a shrug. "So this is getting so convoluted that I can't help but amuse myself in the face of whatever that is" she pointed all over the damned room. "That and, I can't believe I'm saying this, one of us two had to be the relaxed one so you and the captain don't end up spiraling an argument" she finished, looking at them both.
"So what now?" she honestly wondered. "Do we seal this thing and deal with it after the trouble on our own precinct is solved or do we want to tackle this on top of that?" Mildred asked, gauging their reactions. "It's weird that our two first issues relate to our own places?" the playful pointy smile returned to her face. "I promise I don't have anything this weird or angry ghosts in my home though, so we can cross those skeletons out of my closet."

Cerberus
-Well, this sound very lovely, but what I wonder is how that room came to be...I could of course, just ask the house, but I m not sure I want to take the risk. -
He said slowly, as he was still looking at the magical door, room, or whatever it was beyond. He didn’t want to end up been eaten by it, but they had to do something about it. There might be some connections between the two, but at any rate, he had already started undoing the first sceal. They had to make a decision on what move they wanted to do next.

Sealing it does not work unfortunately as soon as the seal was breached the first time people started attacking to get to it. And Cerberus it is my grandmother's study and her notes are all over the table near the thing, so she put it there, I had no idea she even practiced let alone was powerful enough for something like this. Christopher leaves to go into his study and comes out shortly, If we were to contact a Ms. Abby Holland she might be able to convince a being that once nearly destroyed Gotham to come to help us with our percent issue, that man has an innate understanding of nature and as such could probably help to deal with our rogue nature spirit. He hands over what looks like a masters thesis on supernatural crimes in Gotham, The Swamp Thing incident takes up a number of pages.

Captain Dyre starts Christopher’s rant impassively, taking in what is said, but the moment he mentions Dispillo her body language changes. Rapt attention would be the best way to describe it, by the time he mentions breaking the laws of magic her radio is in her hand.
“This is Captain Dyre at the Bradley estate. Lock down, code black, I repeat, lock down, code black. Set boundary at the estate boundary. This is a meta lock down, CDC is unnecessary.”
The only people in the room other than the five of you now that the injured cop has been moved out is the lieutenant, who looks alarmed, and Christophers butler, Adthorpe. She puts away the radio and turns to you.
“Ok, everyone. You’ve all heard something that will attract unwanted supernatural attention to you and this attention is as dangerous as it gets so this investigation is volunteer only. We will need to purge the memories of anyone not investigating this to keep them safe.”
Lieutenant McPhierson seems in no hurry to volunteer and Adthorpe is simply looking confused.

Adthorpe please go visit Alfred, Martha and grandmother used to be rather close. Tell them a break in her case has risen and that things are not safe here for you for the time being. Bruce has a tendency to enjoy philanthropy I am certain he will protect you, I would also ask that you submit to having your memory wiped if it that dangerous.
Turning to Dyre.
It would be very difficult to keep me out of this, any resource I can offer are at your disposal.
He turns to his vast library, or rather his grandmother's library really and starts chanting.
***************************************
Modifiers in use: Wealth 7 (offering Dyre a blank check and any other resources that he might have)
Actions: 3 Witchcraft (Taking some liberties but often times you see witches in books, movies, etc call for a book, in this case, he is calling for anything on dispillo in the library. He is very careful not to let the magic seep anywhere near the hidden room.)

"Whoa" Mildred just uttered, seeing Dyre taking charge and stating how dire the situation was. Her background on magic wasn't specially extensive, as such unpredictable company was one to be avoided even if it was exciting, but even with her brushes with it here and there, she was lost. Without knowledge she couldn't really evaluate how risky it was, and that alone would be another reason for a practical vampire who wanted to live forever to back off. The not knowing was what turned more than one of her kind into ashes, usually the ones drunk with power, thinking themselves unreachable. Mildred was keen on helping with that thing, after all that was why she had signed on, right? The part about having her memories tampered with was the cherry on top to make her agree.
Sometimes, if not always, her recollections was all she had.
Maybe muddied by time, colored by nostalgia, distorted by perspective, but she cherished those. Mildred was sure, as sure as she could be, that whatever process Dyre had in mind was totally safe. Or almost. But she wasn't going to risk it to avoid something she was already leaning into accepting.
"I'm in" Mildred stated, serious for once.

Well... this was his chance to get out huh. Forget all about this magic crap and maybe take down something more.. physical. Hawkins has been confused this whole time, surely no one would blame him? He looked at The Captain. Maybe he should take a long look in the mirror later to ask himself one simple question.
“Ain’t know one messing with my mind, so I guess your stuck with me helping.”
Why was he so determined to die?

Cerberus
The young fae smiled, as it seems that something big was about to start, or at least, start again. He had started this job for a reason and if his mystical side could be of help, then so be it. His past had been quite troubles, so now was his time to atone for that. He looked at the captain.
-No need to erase any memories, It may be dangerous, but I believe that is why we enrolled on this team, there are things that need to be dealt with and I won’t back down from the job I work so hard to get, count me in captain!-
He said.

Christopher's spell reaches out and a book wizzes through the air to him. It's a modern-ish guide to mysteries of the modern world that he himself bought during his search for all things magical.
It's pages contain little more than that a search of the internet could explain.
At the same time Captain Dyre took out her phone hit a number and waited for a moment.
“Belle, yea it’s me. I need the ‘forget me not’ brew and I need to you to go into the vault. I need the scroll in 15a.” There was a pause before she answered “Yea, but somethings come up. Send them to my location.... Always do.”
Only Jon’s sharp hearing would have heard the other side of the conversation.
A young female voice with an odd European accent answered. The intake of breath at whatever is in 15a was audible and then she asked if everything was OK. There was a level of concern in her voice as she rang off but it was a brief conversation.
The Captain then carried on addressing you all.
“OK, Michelle, Mildred, Jon, I need you to find anyone who may have overheard the conversation and get them in one place. Cerberus, I need to see the ward on that door, find some paper and draw it out for me. I should be able to figure out how it works from that.”
She took a breath apparently making a decision then plunged on, the decision having been made.
“Christopher, the object you have, I’m one of the few people on earth who can probably figure it out given time. The other people will most certainly kill you for asking, or worse. It will take me time to do however and as it stands whatever protections it has aren’t going to be enough now. I can offer you something, well, let’s just call it better. I’ll put it in your hands so you have control over access but it will involve some trust, from both of us.”

Christopher nods at Captain Dyre.
If I did not trust you then I would not share as much as I have with you. Though eventually I want to know exactly what you are and who you work with. Regardless if you think you can figure out this thing then I do not have much choice do I?

Cerberus
The young fae nodded, but then looked back at the circle. There was no way he would be able to draw this skillfully enough and not miss out any details. A better idea came to his mind as his photographic memory would serve him best. He looked at it to make sure to remember it then back toward the captain.
-Honestly, my drawing skills sucks, so, this might be a better representation.-
He concentrated a moment, then extended his hand and in the air, a perfect copy of the ward appeared before him.
-How about that? Good enough?-
He asked with a grin, tilting his head on the side.
—————————————- 3 in fae magic, illusion, to recreate the ward as an optical illusion so the captain can see it.

"I can't read minds, but I should be good sizing up mortals, even if I haven't been a detective for long" Mildred nodded to the captain's orders with a smile. "It should be easy enough for me to go to the hospital where the medical teams took the injured and see if anyone heard something they shouldn't, depending on how you want to share the job" she said to Jon and Michelle. It wasn't like she was specially interested in a hospital, not now that she was sated and healed, but she always tended to move easily through those places and now she had a badge to boot.
