Okay... I have a concept I wanna try out.
Basically the players are a group of risk takers and mercenaries participating in a mysterious game show by an unknown backer to either assassinate, or destroy targets for points. Basically the players would be completing missions together while simultaneously trying to infight or backstab each other in order for the highest score.
Unlike my other games. I would prefer to keep this fairly grounded in MURPG rules. None of the crazy house rules, just a simple game involving fights between the players and their targets/defenses.
Is anyone interested at this point?

Sounds ambitious...and dangerous. I like it.
What will the setting be like, apart from what you've explained?

The setting is the Marvel Universe since I know it the best. Still if there are no objections, I might also throw in some expies of characters from other universes flavored and balanced to fit the game narrative. While still adhering to the rules of the setting.
For example if an Expy of Zoro from One Piece were to show up as an enemy he would be only Str 3 at best because Charles Atlas superpower is not really a thing in the MU. (Not the one I write anyway.)

Ah, okay. That makes things simple.
I already have an idea swirling in my head. Want a preview?

I'd like to wait to see how many people are interested first before I go all in with this game. So hold that thought for now.

So... MARVEL meets The Big Hit? (Shameless plug for a fun movie).
Might have an idea or two for this.

Okay... Here is the basic story.
For one reason or another... Maybe you got an invitation in your email... Maybe you were in trouble, and got bailed out... But one way or another, you were contacted by a being known only as the Gamemaster. You have never met him in person or seen his face, but you have interacted with various agents working for him.
He basically has a bunch of people he wants dead, and a bunch of other missions. So he's basically giving you guys a special game to play where you compete for points by completing objectives or killing certain targets. These points can later be exchanged in between missions for either cash or extra equipment.
Sound good so far?

There is... But whether this is him or not is for the player to discover.
