(OOC: At this point Idk what Hawkeye can offer compared to doom. He can take a shot but its like trying to hit a monk with an arrow, just deflected. But I can still make Hawkeye take a shot.)

"Kang!" Doom commands the attention of the newly revived conqueror to offer him the same choice he made to the Human Torch and Hawkeye. "I will grant your greatest desires and return you to Earth if only you agree to surrender your free will to me."Kang agrees to go along with Doom, and is transported to his home. The Human Torch then receives a telepathic message from the one he agreed to serve... GALACTUS! 'YOU MAY NOT ACCEPT DOOM'S OFFER... FOR YOU HAVE ALREADY GIVEN YOUR FREE WILL TO ME!'Suddenly the Human Torch is imbued with the Power Cosmic and Hawkeye spots Galactus floating toward them from the heavens. Hawkeye Health: 3/3

OOC Shouldn't he have 'power cosmic' or something similar in there? Can't see him finding planets with 5 Speed is all  Probably something to boost stuff as the Surfer has. I'd have thought he would be on a par with Frankie Raye or Firelord, for example. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things - he's hoping it won't come to a fight and Doom can see reason...COSMIC HUMAN TORCH"I... I ... know! --and the bright light emanating from the flying cosmic Human Torch. "Captain Marvel!" calls a telepathic voice in her mind. "This is Professor X! I am telepathically linking your mind to Captain America's allowing him to see through your eyes!"Captain America stands next to Professor Xavier aboard an alien ship, transporting Earth's mightiest Super Heroes toward Doombase. Through Captain Marvel's eyes he can see that Galactus has regained consciousness and has endowed the Human Torch with the Power Cosmic to become one of his heralds. Suddenly, Professor X stiffens as his mind-link is intercepted by Doctor Doom, who projects this message to all the heroes. "Greetings! I am your champion--fighting for your sakes! I am about to crush the Beyonder! 'Slay your enemies...!' he said--but in truth, he is the real enemy! While he can reach us, our universe is not safe from his manipulations! He must be utterly defeated and sealed away forever--or destroyed!"
"In the name of all who exist in our universe, I, Doom, have dared to attack the Beyonder!"
"The battle has gone well. Even now, the Beyonder cringes in terror, marshaling his failing strength against my final assault! Hence, this lull in the strife--which has allowed me to appear to you and offer you the chance to share in my glorious conquest. Surrender me your power! Hasten his certain defeat!"

COSMIC HUMAN TORCH
The Torch glanced over at where Captain America and the newcomer (who he didn't know as Captain Marvel I presume) had arrived.
He hoped they wouldn't consider Dooms proposal. They didn't know him the way the Fantastic Four did. He could force Dooms hand by attacking him, but his power was clearly staggering. Between himself and Dr Doom it was quite possible they'd rip the world, or this part of it, into pieces if they decided to throw down! He decided to take that 'deep breath' of soaking energy up into himself to deliver a staggering blast of near solar intensity! With the power he felt, it was easier than ever to do so. In a way that was satisfying, in another he was sad. The power cosmic meant that, no matter what happened on this battle planet, his life would never be the same again!
He also considered something else. Galactus was now his master. Whatever Big G decided to do, he would have to help with. He just hoped he could make his new master see reason when it mattered. Right now what mattered was stopping Doom and this whole madness on this planet so that everyone could go home!
And then?
And then the Human Torch would find a new home. Among the stars!

Hawkeye
Never in a million years would he be faced with a god father scene from Dr. Doom. On one hand his wife would kill him if he went with doom. On the other hand The beyonder is a powerful entity that when doom needs help its hard to say weather or not he could be plotting a back stab after words. Hawkeye keeps his bow on doom
"Doom first I will not kneel or touch your hand. Second We sadly agree the beyonder is a bit of a jerk for dragging us into the crapper. Third If there is any joining in forces its gonna have to be agreed on everyone in this room now to a yes or no and as far as I am conserned unless you can come up with an argument even Reed can back you up on my answer is no" Hawkeye replied.
(2 stones in Ranged combat bow to keep his aim on him and not letting go of his arrow yet. If there is any offesive force from doom and the arrow flies)

"Well sugar, you do have a lot of bad rep to overcome," said Monica. "It's true that the Beyonder is a huge threat to ALL of us, but you've got something else coming if you think I'm gonna 'bend the knee' or something ridiculous like that!"
She put her hands on her hips. "I tell you what, I'll let you boost me up to help you take on this Beyonder but after that fight is over we are going to need to talk about what's next. I'm not bout to settle down and farm some chickens under some 'benevolent' dictatorship! Those are my terms if you want my help, Victor."
Captain Marvel looked around at the others. She didn't see as they had much of a choice if they were to stand a chance against this Beyonder... if Doom was being honest about the threat he posed to the universe. But she was certainly open to better ideas than accepting Doom's help. She waited to see what else would develop.

After the mind-link has been cut off to the heroes in the alien flier, Professor X tells Captain America that he suspects that Doom was exerting some sort of mental control. Then Captain America sees a bright light in the sky up ahead. It's the Human Torch burning brighter than ever before! The Thing then tells everyone to prepare for landing, because they've approached Doombase.
Captain Marvel lands next to Hawkeye and gives her speech after Clint gives his.
"Of course, you would believe Reed Richards best qualified to interpret for you the meaning and significance of the events you are witnessing." Doom answers Hawkeye with condescension. "But my senses have expanded! Omniscience is of necessity a corollary of omnipotence! I encompass all that exists around me! I possess more senses than before! I am aware of all things...including...how only I can absorb the Beyonder's vast energies and end this secret war!"
Then, just as Captain America and Mister Fantastic exit the landed alien craft, Galactus descends upon the scene and glares down at Doctor Doom.

COSMIC HUMAN TORCH
Johnny soars up to hover in front of Galactus and speaks "Master! What is your bidding?" It felt strange... and yet right, to refer to Galactus as his master now, but he also felt torn. In a way that was reassuring. Despite owing his new power to Galactus, he knew the doubt, the feeling of being of two worlds, meant that he still kept his free will. He wondered what would happen if Galactus compelled him to act.
Shaking his head, he ignored his own question and looked down where Doom stood, waiting for his masters response.
He continues to build his energies!

Capt. Shakes his head and glances at his fellows before looking up at Galactus.
"I think your right Professor, Doom was using some type of mental control and I don't trust him." Capt. Says as he raises shield. "Galactus is predictable at least and we may need his help."

Professor Xavier tells Captain America, "Galactus retains his free will, but his power is severely reduced."Hawkeye is posed to fire if there is any offensive force from Doom, but what he was not expecting is for a powerful stream of energy to flow toward the monarch of Latveria! Energy stored by the Human Torch is now being drained toward the breastplate of Dr. Doom's armor! This poses a frightful question for Monica Rambaeu. If Doom can absorb cosmic energies, can he also absorb the electromagnetic energy forms of Captain Marvel? |
