Reed escapes toward the swarming army of foul creatures in gleaming black armor, wielding clubs and spears. But they ignore him and continue streaming into the keep. Only the five goblins behind Mr. Fantastic continue to pursue him.
Two goblins enter Reed's area and try to grapple him again.

Reed was able to just avoid one of the goblins adjacent to him, but the other tackles him to the ground in the area south of Castle Hideous's southwest tower.

Mr. Fantastic's brain was whirring. The goblins seemed to be everywhere, and then he had an idea.
Reed stopped struggling and let the goblins take him where they will while he thinks up a plan.
