"Good luck honey. I'll be rooting for you. Remember, I'm your biggest fan! Go! Show the world who you are!"
These were the parting words from Kyna's mother, who saw her leave for the nearest hero establishment. Kyna was told to report to was the Tokyo Hero Ring, located a little outside of Shibuya in Shinjuku City. A train ride to her destination would be her first step to becoming a hero. It was sad, though, that it was mandatory to live at the hero establishments they were assigned to. That would mean she'd miss her mother, and would have to visit her only when she could. Who knows if and when the hero establishments offered days off. It'd be tough for sure. However, Kyna knew she'd have to get out of her comfort zone in order to not only be a hero, but to be a star!
On the train ride to Shinjuku, Kyna saw some eyes land on her. Though she was a Tokyo native, it would be miraculous if everyone in the large city had seen her. Still, the eyes landing her way was something she was used to. She was, after all, a humanoid spider girl. Though she was odd in appearance, it was clear evidence that she was of the 0.10% of people with supernatural genes. Still, the only thing to still spark her temper was words or actions against her. Stares were one thing, but to take action was another. For now, she'd just wait until she'd get to her destination.
Leaving the train after she arrived, she noticed the bustling city around her. She had never been to this part of Shinjuku in particular, but it was still Tokyo, she knew enough how to get around. With convenient maps placed around, she'd easily locate The Hero Ring.
Getting passed the crowds, she found herself at the entrance of The Hero Ring.
"Welcome to The Hero Ring." A woman at the front counter greeted Kyna without really paying attention to her. She was looking down at some paperwork while making her greeting. "How...can I help you today?" She said shuffling through the papers on her desk, clearly distracted.
