James
"Thanks", he said, kissing her. "Of course, if you want to get breakfast, nobody will be angry at you. Worst case scenario, mom will ask you when she'll be getting grandkids."

She nodded and proceeded to get dressed, and head out.

James
"See you when I'm back", he said, heading to pick up his gear, his food, and make his way to the Dimensional Drive Gate.

You gather your gear when you notice something on your desk.... A black axe with a pistol grip built into the head, and a hollow handle designed to act as an energy blaster....
A gift taken from a fallen warrior in black armor after a battle.
(Basically James now has the Power Axe from MMPR... I'll leave it up to you to decide how he got it, but James has it now.)

(OOC: Gonna buy Hammerspace via my magic.)
James
The Fae'Rhal warrior recalled how he'd fought by the warrior's side - along with some of his friends - against hostile monsters entering reality from another dimension a few years ago. They'd been victorious, but not without cost. The Power Ranger had gifted him with his weapon for successfully helping him to protect his other friends, but he himself was too grievously injured to be saved in time. Naturally, James had a lot of respect for a warrior who'd lay down his life to protect his closest friends and family, and so he saw the axe as a personal treasure.
"Why'd I left you there anyway? C'mere", he said, putting it away magically for later use, before going on his way. 1 in Spirit of Vengeance (Demonic Magic, Hammerspace) to put away the weapon.
1 in Speed to get moving.

You store away the axe as you make your way the half kilometer to the drive gate.

(OOC: I don't really know how this 'drive gate' functions, so sorry if I'm being vague.)
James
James proceeded to activate the gate and made his way through in order to get this mission started ASAP so he could return with the aircraft for his family.

(Basically you know about Stargate? It's just like that except it can also build portals to places other than another Stargate. There's just one small problem...)
You activate the drive gate, and step though...
and end up 50,000 ft in the air above a desert world.
(The portal's location is random.)

(OOC: Yeah, I know Stargate. Okay, cool. Thanks.)
James
"Alright!", he let out, grinning, aiming himself down towards the ground like a parachuting jumper as he took a good look at the world far below. As he kept freefalling, he used the opportunity and his crazy height to look around for the base he was supposed to steal the aircraft from. 6 in Agility to aim myself properly towards the ground like a parachuting jumper.
10 in Black Ops, +2 from Acute Sight to look in the distance for the base I'm supposed to infiltrate.

You find a giant mountain-sized fortress in the distance several miles from your position.

James
Smirking, the Fae'Rhal warrior used his abilities to adjust his falling angle, progressively correcting his course and using the momentum to launch himself forward towards the massive fortress, though he did plan on landing relatively away so he could sneak in with more subtlety than flying straight to it. 3 in Flight to slow my fall while correcting my course to use the momentum to shoot myself towards the base, though I'll land a bit away in order to sneak in.

James
After making sure there was no one over there, James teleported up to the walls in question. 4 in Intelligence to check out if he could see anyone;
6 into Instant Transmission to teleport next to the walls of the fortress.
