Reincarnation of the Progenitor Goddess and
Primordial Dragon of Fódlan; Former Great General
of the Adrestian Empire
QUOTE: "If you wish to fight someone that bad, then I will be your opponent. Prepare yourself."
Real Name: Byleth Eisner
Age: 29 (Looks about 24. Sothis was alive for well over 1250 years old when she merged with her, making her mental/emotional age much older than she looks. Since the merging, Byleth has effectively become immortal, so her appearance will likely not change much more.)
Other Aliases: The Ashen Demon, Professor, Teacher, Sothis, The Primordial Dragon, The Beginning, The Progenitor Goddess, The Goddess, The Fell Star, Great General Eisner
Occupation: Former Mercenary, Former Black Eagles House Teacher at the Garreg Mach Monastery, Progenitor Goddess of Fódlan, Reincarnation of the Goddess Sothis, Former Great General of the Adrestian Empire, Adventuress, Traveler
Marital Status: Single
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 128 lbs
Eye color: Light Green
Hair color: Light Green
Species: Transcendent Dragon Goddess (Former Mystically-enhanced Human, merged with the Goddess Sothis in soul, mind and body, although her base body still appears as human like Sothis' did.)
Notes: Bears the legendary Crest of Flames, which is invisible to common senses. Her aura is immeasurably more powerful than any normal human, and appears as both divine and draconic properties.

Draconic Powers: 12
-Efficient
-Since merging with Sothis, Byleth has begun developping draconic powers, most of which she can use even in her normal human form.

Stones of Effect act as Growth up to AN, Dragonscale up to AN, Dragon Wings as mentioned below, and Metamorphosis, to transform into a massive dragon form, the true form of Sothis. She can, of course, still use the powers in this action, making up the sum of her abilities as a dragon. NOTE: When activated via this effect, she needs not maintain any of these effects, as this is her real, true form, as opposed to activating parts of them while retaining her human form.)

-Dragon Heart (Adds this Action's AN to Energy Regeneration per panel.)

-Immovability (1 stone/panel; as the Modifier of the same name.)

-Clairvoyance (Can perceive through time regardless of physical proximity.)
-Divine Pulse (As Time Travel. May travel in both the past and the future, by up to AN on the Duration section of the D&R chart. If traveling in the past, may choose to exchange places with her past self to re-do events differently.)
-Fasten/Slow/Reverse Time (By up to stones played times; User may act normally or be affected as well, at their discretion. To Reverse, must pay 5 stones to reverse at normal speed, with additional stones increasing speed)
-Stop Time (Stops time entirely for stones played on Duration on the D&R chart up to AN; user may act normally for the entire duration. God-like beings, cosmic entities and eldritch abominations, as well as beings immune to Reality Distortion, are immune to this effect and can act while time is stopped. Those beings, and the user, can also free others from the effect by interacting with them directly. Harming someone directly will also free them.)
-Temporal Healing (As Mutant Healing; removes wounds via temporal manipulation to return the victim's body parts to an unharmed moment)
-Time Warp (Stones VS Duration on D&R chart to either age or de-age matter/objects, possibly damaging/destroying/repairing/altering them accordingly)

Factors include any statement to determine how the new dimension functions, such as 'Similar to our world', 'Dragons exist in it', 'Landscapes consist of countless floating islands of various sizes', and so on. Such a creation will leave Byleth drained, and cause her to suffer -3 to all Actions for 24 hours. NOTE: If one of her factors involve creating life in the world, she must pay for the strongest entities existing there via as per Lifegiver, although their numbers are not limited as normal due to the dimensional energies allowing for greater feats of creation.)

-Allows bearer to wield the Sword of the Creator at its maximum potential without any ill effect. May also wield other Heroes' Relics, but can't use their unique Special Techniques.
-The Crest of Flames is one of the long-lost Crests of the Divine, easily the rarest of all Crests of the Goddess. Its power cannot be replicated in any artificial way, although Byleth herself would be able to grant it to someone - being the reincarnated goddess herself. The Crest of Flames appears as a symbol reminiscent of stylized flames or a butterfly when observed within the aura of its bearer, and is sometimes referred to as 'The Fire Emblem'.

Class Change
-Byleth has the ability to switch 'Classes' at will, which will make her more skilled and powerful at certain aspects, and sometimes weaker at others, while also granting her unique skills for each class. Changing from one class to another takes 1 full Panel. She can decide whether to change into the appropriate outfit/armor or retain whatever she is wearing/equipped with at the time if she prefers.
-At GM's discretion - though the player can suggest some - new classes can be unlocked as one encounters them, given the right circumstances and sufficient understanding of said potential new class. For example, were she to visit the Naruto universe, she might be able to obtain a Kunoichi class. Alternately, if some classes became obsolete - for example, if near identical but superior classes are obtained, or if actions are merged making former classes useless - they can be removed.
Professor's Guidance
-A benefit to both herself and any allies who engages in battle alongside her, Byleth and said allies gain 120%, rounded up, of the normal LoEs gaines via regular completion of Issues. This does not apply to bonus LoEs/White stones gained via Holidays or other events, unless the GM states otherwise.
Reconstitute Self, Special
-As Reconstitute Self, Instant; if she sees the incoming killing blow, may reflexively activate her Divine Pulse upon 'death' to return in time to a point before it happened to act to avoid her death. She may do this up to Mastery of Time AN per day.
-Even if she finally is killed for real, Byleth, like Sothis before her, cannot fully die and will simply keep existing as a Divine spirit, who may or may not do as Sothis herself did and merge with someone else in the future to 'return to life' in a new body.
Wealth: 10+
-Gains $10,000,000,000 per month/issue
CHALLENGES
-Looking non-human (-3; in her real form, Byleth is a massive, divine dragon of formidable power, with scales white, silver and gold in color like the Sword of the Creator, both terrifying and awe-inspiring to behold, while still calm and peaceful in nature to those who take the time to realize it. This challenge is reduced, obviously, because Byleth can easily assume human form at will for as long as she pleases, and she usually does, favoring said human form over her real draconic self.)
-Odd feature (-1; Byleth has no heartbeat whatsoever. She was stillborn at birth, and was only saved when Rhea implanted the Crest Stone of the Progenitor Goddess into her heart, which brought her to life, but had the effect mentioned above, in addition to making her completely emotionless for the longest time, until she became a teacher at the Garreg Mach Monastery.)
-Minor Disability (-1; shortsighted. Wears glasses to make up for it.)
-Psychological (-2; shared psyche. Byleth is now essentially two entities in a single body, having fully merged with the Progenitor Goddess, Sothis. While the merging is technically speaking complete, and Byleth is fully in control of her new self, Sothis' essence is still present and can still interact with her, be it in agreement or opposition.)
-Psychological (-1; mildly emotionless. Since her birth, Byleth has always had a very subdued personality and a lot of difficulty expressing any emotions, never laughing nor crying. This changed when she became a teacher at the Monastery, progressively becoming able to smile, be annoyed, grow angry... and eventually crying for the first time when her father died. Nowadays, this trait is less present, but she is still hard to read if one doesn't know her, displaying her feelings less often, and less obviously, than most people.)
-C.T.S.U.F.U (-3; one of Byleth's favorite 'hobbies' is actually helping and listening to people when they need it. When she has some free time and isn't busy, she usually goes around and gives a hand when she can.)
-Haunted past (-1; her father Jeralt's death at the hands of Kronya, an assassin sent by 'Those Who Slither in the Dark', which was the first time in her life that she was able to cry. While his death occurred 8 years ago, and his murder was avenged in the past, it still haunts her a bit, especially her inability to save him despite her power to rewind time which she already had back then.)
-Fame (-4; Byleth is a former renowned mercenary under the name 'The Ashen Demon', the former Great General of the Adrestian Empire under the leadership of Empress Edelgard von Hresvelg, and the reincarnation and current host of the Progenitor Goddess Sothis' essence, power and soul. Needless to say, she is widely known across the United Empire of Fódlan, which means enjoying some time away from the public eye is not always easy.)
-Strong appetite (-1; Byleth enjoys a nice, plentiful meal more than most, often eating more than would be expected from a woman of her size, and yet never gaining a pound from overeating. Still, she eats a lot.)
-Pet peeve (-1; Byleth dislikes being referred to as her former moniker, 'The Ashen Demon', or to be openly worshipped as a Goddess, even though she technically is one. She holds her humanity dear, and dislikes being seen as some sort of special being clearly removed from other humans.)
-Minority (-1; bisexual. Byleth has displayed interest in both men and women in the past.)
-Archaic (-3; Byleth comes from a medieval/dark ages-like era world, where modern technology such as computers, cellphones and the like are non-existent. Should she end up in another universe with such devices, she would suffer -2 per level of this challenge when attempting to use them. For example, Byleth is quite skilled at opening locks in general, but if she tried unlocking an electronic lock with her Thieving, she'd suffer a -6 sitmod to the action. Luckily, this challenge would be easy to get rid off with some time, effort, and guidance, hence its relatively low value. GM's call as to how much and how quickly it is overcome given the circumstances.)
EQUIPMENT
-Currently Worn: -Black light armor with matching skirt, bracers, knee-high boots, ornate dark stockings, and long-sleeved longcoat (+1 Defense)
-Prescription Glasses
-Sword of the Creator (A legendary Hero's Relic of exceptional power, said to be a gift to Humankind by the Goddess Herself, once wielded by Nemesis, the King of Northern Fódlan and the leader of the Liberation Army during the War of Heroes until his defeat at the hands of Saint Seiros. The truth is darker, however: the Sword was created by Nemesis after killing Sothis' original body, crafting the weapon out of its remains. It appears as a large golden, silven and white sword glowing with power, which can turn into a whip-like blade with a flick of the wrist, segmenting it and granting it formidable range. Only Byleth and Empress Edelgard can wield the Sword of the Creator anywhere close to its true power, for it requires its user to bear the Crest of Flames.
- Sword Form (+8, 2x damage, AP (Ignores 4 Toughness even if No AP))
- Whip-Sword Form (As Sword Form, but Wpn.modifier is lowered to +7, with Range 3.)
- Mystic Edge (Can deflect/parry energy/magical attacks/effects with the blade.)
- Shatter Barrier (Wpn.modifier VS Force Field/Barrier's AN to destroy it on impact.)
- Sothis' Will (+3 to all Magical Actions with it equipped.)
- Exclusive (The Sword of the Creator can only be used to its maximum potential by wielders of the Crest of Flame. Furthermore, anyone lacking a Crest who wields it will suffer 1w of damage every time they use it.)
- Indestructible
-Failnaught (+6, 2x damage, 3x damage VS Flying targets; Hunt/Seek, Control Trajectories, Range 5, Indestructible. This legendary weapon appears as an ominous, bone-like longbow held together with tendons and steel. It is a legendary Hero's Relic connected to the Crest of Riegan, and its arrows are said to never miss their mark. Like all Hero's Relics, it can only be used safely by a bearer of a Crest; anyone else would suffer 1w of damage every time they use it. )
RESERVE EQUIPMENT (Kept in Hammerspace)
-Black Heavy Plate Armor (+4 defense)
-Areadbhar (+5/+7 when ignited, 2x damage, AP, Sets flammable objects on fire when ignited, Returns to user when thrown, Indestructible. The legendary spear known as Areadbhar is the Hero's Relic of Blaiddyd, one of the Ten Elites who fought in the War of Heroes. It is connected to the Crest of Blaiddyd, and has the power to ignite itself with fiery flames, pierce through most armors, and return to its wielder when thrown. Like all Hero's Relics, it can only be safely used by a bearer of a Crest; anyone else would suffer 1w of damage every time they use it.)
-All the other Heroes' Relics
-Scythe of Sariel (+4/+5 when Mounted, 2x damage, Limited AP. A large, vicious, lethal black scythe once wielded by the Death Knight Jeritza, before Byleth handily defeated in personal combat.)
-Weather Wizard's Staff (Capabilities unknown, will examine later)
-Dozens of different weapons and armors, shields, consummable items, pieces of equipment of multiple types, power and effects; ammo, Thieves' tools, clothes, and so on (Wpn.modifiers and Armor Defense of +1 to +4, with various advantages, some even with powers for some of the weapons/armors.)
-Sitri's Ring (A beautiful silver ring with set sapphires once belonging to Byleth's mother, left to Byleth by her father after his untimely death. He asked her to give the ring to 'someone special' to her, when the time would come for her to seek her own happiness.)
-2x Red Summon Materias (Ultimate Weapon, Dragon Man. NOTE: This is Dragon Man prior to having its intelligence upgraded and made speech-capable by Reed Richards.)
-Orange Materia
-Stock Flamethrower, Thermal Thruster, Home Wrecker, Loose Cannon, Chargin' Targe, Half-Zatoichi, Blutsauger, Stock Medi-Gun, Uber Saw, Stock Minigun, Sandvich, Killing Gloves of Boxing, Babyface's Blaster, Crit-A-Cola, Boston Basher, Widowmaker, Stock Pistol, The Classic, Jarate, Bushwacker, The Diamondback, The Conniver's Kunai, The Invisi-Watch, the Stock Sapper, Rocket Jumper, Mantreads, and Market Gardener from TF2
-Books on Mechanics, Sciences, Computers, Vehicles... and 'The Songs of Ass and Fire' by Georgina X.X.X. Martin, a trashy romance novel recommended by Gabby.
______________________________________________________________
STORY: Byleth Eisner, also known as Great General Eisner, is a widely known heroine and the right-hand woman of Empress Edelgard von Hresvelg, ruler of the United Empire of Fódlan, and a former professor of the Adestrian Empire's Black Eagles class back in her time at Garreg Mach Monastery. She was once known as the Ashen Demon back in the day when she was a traveling mercenary, a nickname she earned due to her seeming lack of emotions as she crushed opponent after opponent.
What is less known about her is how she is also the current incarnation of the Progenitor Goddess and Primordial Dragon, Sothis, herself. While she is known to be the daughter of the former General of the Knights of Seiros turned legendary mercenary, Jeralt Reus Eisner, her mother Sitri was far less known to the public eye. Sitri was secretly artificially created by Lady Rhea, Archbishop of the Church of Seiros - her true identity secretly Seiros, the daughter of Sothis - to serve as the host of her divine mother's soul and powers... an experiment which, like the other eleven before her, had failed, as her body had rejected the Crest of Flames as had her predecessors. For that reason, Sitri was left frail and prone to illness, drawing ever closer to death even at a young age.
Sitri's meeting with Jeralt changed everything. He brought light and meaning to her existence, and every time they met, his stories of his adventures made her heart race. Soon enough, they were married, and Sitri was eventually pregnant with child. However, when she finally gave birth, she realized her child was stillborn. Knowing her own life was doomed either way, Sitri begged Lady Rhea to save her child by implanting the Crest of Flames into her - an act which would kill the mother, but give a chance to her daughter. Rhea, who had come to see Sitri sort of as a daughter, accepted, and the process allowed Byleth to live, at the cost of her mother's passing, and the child's ability to feel and display emotions like a normal person.
Years later, now an adult freshly out of a life as a mercenary with her father, Byleth was hired as a professor at the Garreg Mach Monastery by Lady Rhea herself, unaware of the woman's plans or her connection to her. Having finally found a compatible host of the Crest of Flames, Rhea planned to use Byleth in a ritual to erase her soul and replace it with that of Sothis, resurrecting her mother. The ritual failed, and Byleth eventually joined Empress Edelgard von Hresvelg in the Adrestian Empire's rebellion against the oppressive and cruel Church of Seiros and Lady Rhea, infuriating the latter who believed her 'granddaughter' owed her everything despite her own selfish intentions. And at some point during that war, Byleth and Sothis' souls merged together instead of the latter replacing the former, causing the professor to awaken to the Primordial Goddess' powers, and her dark green hair and black eyes to turn pale light green in the process.
The ensuing conflict ended with the Empire's victory, with Rhea/Seiros defeated once and for all, and the divided continent of Fódlan united under a single banner under Edelgard's leadership as the new United Empire of Fódlan. Great General Eisner, as Byleth was now known, was offered a position of authority within the Kingdom as her Empress' right-hand woman, but Byleth instead chose to resume her travels and adventures, promising her support to the young Empress in the future if necessary.
