Selina is the youngest of three Kyle children, the other two being her boorish twin brothers. They immigrated from Ireland into Gotham with their parents when they were young, specifically when Selina was 7. Her father worked the docks, her mother worked textiles, and Selina helped her brothers run scams when they weren't delivering the paper. Three years later and the drink found mother and father. When father left in the autumn, mother succumbed to illness in the winter. The kids sold everything that was left, found a flat in Bludhaven, and started from scratch. These days, they run scams on a bigger level, and it's even rumored that they are one of the best bootleggers money can buy. Selina's burlesque club in the East End -- "The Cat's Meow" -- supposedly has a speakeasy, if you know the right password. They're too small time for the likes of a Gordon taskforce, but big enough that GCPD's Detective Bullock bullies them from time to time. Still, they have avoided long-term incarceration. Maybe there was enough probable cause to bring them in for the night, but never enough evidence to keep them. Selina's business clout and stunning look was enough to catch the eye of one of the Underworld's finest: Roman Sionis. It was not long before a ring sparkled on her finger, but who knows what lasts forever in the criminal kingdom. Every girl has her secrets, and Seina's is a whopper: she is the infamous burglar known as The Cat. She has been prowling museums, exhibits, and gullible fat cats for the better part of two years now, but this is only the beginning.
