Immortus thanks the Avengers for agreeing to help and promptly sends them back in time to a park. Because of the stress of time travel, the Avengers are helpless for the first full round after they appear. And all the people in the park, three men and one woman, immediately head toward their nearest edge of the park. |

Monica rubs her eyes as the Garden State comes into focus. "Well, at least we don't run the risk of meeting ourselves as Avengers, yet. So where do we start looking for Mr. Armageddon?"
She scans her surroundings. What else is in the park?

 "I hope we don't need to blend in." says Starfox, glancing down at the colours of his costume and those of the others. "Perhaps we should attempt to conceal our true identities with civilian clothes?" he asks, unaware that for superheroes on Earth at this time the opposite situation is more relevant. Captain Marvel scans the park, noticing typical park things like grass, trees, paths and a fountain. Meanwhile, Starfox recognizes the fleeing person nearest the Avengers as the man they were sent to stop.

 Starfox points "That's the fellow we're here to stop!" he says cheerfully. With that he flies up into the air and arcs to land twenty feet in front of the fleeing fellow. "Please stop so we can speak with you!" he says, smiling. ACTIONS
Fly over to the guy and ask him to stop running so we can chat to him. |

Wanda branches out to set up a perimeter around the Not-So-Fantastic-Foursome - somewhere she could cut off would-be interlopers or sudden moves to flee. She didn't want to hurt anyone, but it seemed she shared the Titan's sentiment that they stuck out rather like sore thumbs, and their very presence here was sure to cause untold chaos.

The young man stops to talk to Starfox and Vision, once he sees that they can fly. "You can fly? Who are you?" Then looking more closely at the Vision, he asks, "Are you a ghost?"
The other three people continue to exit the park.

Seeing that the young man is stopping to chat with the Avengers Starfox asks Wanda "Should I stop the others from leaving? Who are they? Do you recognise anyone? I am, after all, new to the team. Also can I say how lovely you are looking today." he adds with a charming grin. OOC Starfox started out as an innocent, charming, ladies man but turned into some kind of sleazebag later on it seems (from what I can tell). I'll keep him as the charming, new to this place likes to flirt with the ladies guy rather than the latter... |

Wanda spoke softly:
"You know, here on Earth, when two people make a commitment to each other, it's a commitment that lasts a lifetime. 'Till death do us part'. That's what Vision and I have."
She still remembered the ceremony between her and the man of her dreams, a fantasy she could barely believe was real. All her friends in attendance. She smiled involuntarily.
"Someday you'll find someone special for you, I'm sure."
Scanning the rest of their target's party, she gestured around them.
"I think we should observe for now. We're in another time. Who knows what might happen. Have you ever heard the metaphor of the flapping butterfly's wings? The slightest change in history could turn you into a newt."
She giggled.

"Is there not some easy way to do this?" Starfox says, leaning in to Wanda. "I mean, grabbing the fellow may be effective but somewhat... uncivilised." he glanced about. "Any onlooker might, for example, view the scene and see us as the villains." He walks forward. "Please sir! Co-operate with us! We mean no harm! In fact, quite the opposite!" he says with hands outspread and a smile on his face. Starfox winces inwardly when he considers that the Vision grabbing the fellow might not give the best impression. ACTIONS
