"You absolutely must not appear on television or see any of the Avengers existing in that time. The resulting tremors in time would destroy the entire era."Vision reasons that Immortus's goals are logical for repairing the damage done by the meltdown of all nuclear reactors. He also wonders if this whole disaster may have been avoided if a benign authority had control of all the world's computers. Certainly the anomalies would have been detected and mankind protected from this human error. Starfox has no concern about running into himself in Manhattan, since he wasn't even on the planet Earth at this time. When the Avengers are ready and the Scarlet Witch picks up the headset, Immortus sends them back in time to where the Grey Gargoyle is outside of Manhattan. In the early morning twilight, Captain America recognizes this area as the moist coastal marshes of Brooklyn's Jamaica Bay. Starfox flies closer to the thing - within shouting distance so twenty feet or so. "I can't imagine this will work but who knows?" he mutters to himself. "Hello my friend! The Scarlet Witch's probability field to turn stone into flesh strikes the behemoth but has no effect! Last time the Scarlet Witch tried this, it was after a series of attacks on the villain by Falcon, Captain America, Wasp, Ms. Marvel and Vision, setting her up to deliver the coup-de-grace, which was followed by a stiff punch to the villain's jaw by the Beast. Starfox's mental tickle also has no effect, as the rock-thing proceeds to slam a petrified-trunk-like appendage into the Scarlet Witch! Spurred into action by her comrade's plight, Captain Marvel turns into light, flies towards the giant gargoyle, and begins zipping around his eyes like an annoying mosquito.
"Hey, cragface! You think that's how you should treat a girl, or is your brain also full of rocks?"

Fly up and around to gather speed for a ramming attack! Accelerate to maximum speed then turn to fly into the creature with a two fisted attack!

Fly up and around to gather speed for a ramming attack! Accelerate to maximum speed then turn to fly into the creature with a two fisted attack!
Note that Starfox can only move up to his normal ground speed during his first round of flight. Are you just flying away 3 areas this round? |
