Although Wanda is not (yet) supernaturally compelled to protect the source of the cry for help, she wouldn't be an Avenger if she ignored it. Vision and Monica were trained to handle any sort of threat, so surely an unruly gang of football hooligans did not need extra attention.
Shouting into the crevasse she yells:
"Please hang on! Help is on the way! I can't see what is going on! If you can, please describe your situation for me? Is it safe for me to come in and help you?"

"Wanda! The boy somehow can copy powers!" Vision says going intangible. "Stay back. He'll just copy your abilities too." Vision said advancing on the man. "Stop this now. We do not want to hurt you. We just need to do what we have to do to save the world from a disaster.
Vision goes intangible and walks toward Calvin trying to convince him to stop being problematic for a second while we do our jobs. (Not even gonna try a roll because I know this won't work. I'm just trying to distract him so Monica and Eros can recover.)

"You just slipped out of their grip like a ghost!" Calvin says. "Let's see if I can do that too." The young man then transforms into energy and passes through the cave-in out of sight!
The football players who held Vision may not have seen that, as the android slips out of their grip and they turn their attention toward Starfox. One guy, who looks like a linebacker, grapples Eros firmly, but the Eternal does not even resist.
Having heard her call inside, the two of the football players who failed to grapple Captain Marvel approach the mine entrance and block the path so the Scarlet Witch can't get inside without going through them.
[OOC: I'm leaving Captain Marvel as-is for this post. She is still held by two football players and no additional damage this round.]
Captain Marvel Health: 40/60
Captain Marvel Karma: 12
Conditions: Held - Two football players who have Captain Marvel in a hold and can automatically cause another 20 damage next round, unless Monica can escape on her turn. She has the headset.
Scarlet Witch Health: 46

Starfox Karma: 56
Conditions: Still helpless and agreeable to suggestions from the young man, named Calvin. Currently, he has been suggested to help protect Calvin. Starfox may make a Psyche FEAT roll at the end of his turn to free his mind. A football player also has Starfox in a hold, but Eros's Body Armor has protected him from receiving any damage.

Wanda steps back reflexively at Vision's warning, shouting again into the cave:
"My name is Wanda Maximoff of the Avengers! And Vision..."
She paused, not wanting to say too much:
"The synthezoid was created with the help of Dr. Henry Pym to join us on our missions. Please believe us, we want to help. But we can't do that if we're in danger. Vision is going to come inside. I promise, if you let us help you, we will explain what is going on!"
She nods at Vision as he phases out of the hold, ready to weave her hexes if the football players decide to tackle *her* for sport too.

Vision passes through the rubble after the man and as soon as he can get a clear shot drops his intangibility and fires an infared beam at the energy being.

Realizing she has no chance of escaping with the headset, Captain Marvel transforms into radio waves and tries to fly through her tacklers and into a hovering position.
"That's it. I'm done playing nice! All four of you'd better head for the hills and let us do our job- or Jersey's gonna go up in smoke!"
Hopefully the statement will scare them without making Scarlet Witch uneasy. If not... Monica might need to give them a powerful demonstration.

If that succeeds, try to resist the Mimic's mental Tickle on himself... 1-100
If he fails to mental tickle the linebacker, 'shrug' him off with no intention to do damage just break the hold. 1-100
I presume the actions would be to break the hold and to mental tickle and that resisting isn't an action as such, though I could be wrong. Starfox may be stood here useless for a while.1-100�1-100�1-100 |

Scarlet Witch
The two guards blocking the Scarlet Witch's path look at each other. One shrugs before the other answers, "I don't know what's going on. Cal just asked us to meet him in the park for a strength training exercise at the old mine."
The second then says, "Your friends better not hurt him. He's our best player."
"Actually," the other football player says. "He's more like all our best players, put together in the same person."
Vision
Vision floats through the rocks, unsure which direction to go, until he hears Calvin.
"The machine! I see it! Just as dad left it!"
The sound leads Vision to an inner cave laboratory. There he finds Calvin radiating enough light for the room and its equipment to be seen.
"The explosion didn't do any damage to the inner cave!" the young man exclaims. "That means I've won! I've won!"
ZAPT!
Vision shoots a beam of solar energy through the jewel in his forehead, striking the high school football star!
Calvin angrily turns to sneer at the Vision, "You fool--you're too late!" The young man then reaches for a lever on the wall and pulls it.
"There! I've activated the master switch! The current is on! Everything is set for me!"
Electricity dances across the the walls, illuminating this inner cave full of scientific machinery which is now powering on.
Captain Marvel
The two football players who were holding Captain Marvel are initially stunned by her ability to slip free like that, but they soon recover.
"Playin' nice? You shot some kinda laser at Cal! Now he's gone! What did you do?" asks the first player.
"Hey, what's this?" says the second, bending over and picking up the dropped headset. "I bet this is what gave her those powers."
Starfox
Starfox finds this whole situation to be very pleasing and his words therefore come across as being playful. When he mentally tickles one of the football players, the teen says, "Hey guys, I think wresting these guys is the strength exercise Cal called us here for."
"Yeah," says another. "That makes sense! They said they were actors and they're wearing flashy costumes!"
"Totally professional wrestlers! I bet Rankin hired them to train us."
"Calvin Rankin is the greatest!"
And now all five of them, Avenger and teenagers are all having a blast wrestling in the cave.

With a shrug Starfox will walk towards the cave and where Rankin is, in order to 'protect' him. If the guy is still grappling him/attempting to restrain him, he'll peel him off like a grape. OOC Escape grapple 2CGzI3LE1-100
If this were an opposed roll type system it would be no contest, but with this dice on this site... it's like walking through treacle!

Last three D100 rolls within 5 points of each other (at most). Not very random!! While mental tickle is in effect, Starfox is helpless and can't take any real actions anyway. You can roleplay being helpless for the turn and then roll a Psyche FEAT at the end to try to get out of it. I'm going to use that 24 for the Psyche FEAT, meaning Starfox will still be helpless next round. Sorry. |

Wanda braces herself, subtly weaving a hex that will cause an earthquake, splitting the earth and creating a large fissure that drives a wedge past the footballers and making a path directly between her and wherever the machine is that Immortus wants them to stop from activating, using her best ability to estimate where that might be.

Monica glares at the footballers as she shoots a blast of energy near their feet (Excellent Intensity)... and tries to put on a typical "supervillain" voice.
"You put that on and you'll get your brain zapped- so leave it! Now you boys run off and call the real Avengers. None of your friends will get hurt and you'll make front page news as heroes. But if you don't..."
She lets that hang in the air as she chuckles "evilly".

Scarlet Witch, Starfox and Captain MarvelWhen Captain Marvel zaps the ground, the entire tunnel shakes! "Let's get out of here!" "C'mon guys! Practice is over! The two football players yell to their teammates as they drop the headset and head for the exit. This prompts the four guys grappling with Starfox to drop him and head out too. "That was fun!" says the guy who Starfox tried to charm, while charmed himself. Eros finds the vibration of the cave to be quite pleasurable. (Unless he succeeds at a Psyche FEAT at the end of this turn.) As the ball payers all run from the cave, everyone but Scarlet Witch is surprised to see a crevasse form on the cavern floor. The rocks piled up in the cavern begin to fall into the fault line. VisionVision sees the young man step toward a platform with a large letter "M", a helmet and a switch. "How can you hope to battle someone who can hurl your very own weapons against you?" The young man then turns on the platform, revealing a shining point of solar energy on his forehead!
