Though she didn't expect the Earth to split and shudder like that, Monica breathes a sigh of satisfied relief as the wrestlemaniacs depart.
"Phew... patrolwoman, Avenger, and now supervillain. You're moving up in the world now, Monica."
She then resumes her normal form and scoops up the headset, carrying it to the cave entrance.
"Okay Wanda, got the doohickey. Any idea what's going on down there?"

Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch
Just inside the cave entrance, Captain Marvel carries the headset toward the Scarlet Witch. The ground has stopped shaking and the football players are hut-hut-hiking away.
Starfox
Eros recovers from his mental tickle and notices that light now shines from behind the mound of rocks.
Vision
Inside the lit chamber, the young man covers the glowing point on his forehead with what looks like the cap of an electric chair. Standing on the platform with the giant letter "M" behind him, the teen places his left hand on a nearby wall switch.
"I have triumphed! My powers will now be permanent!"

Starfox frowns and takes to the air with a grim look on his face. He intends to swoop down and flatten the teen with his hand on the wall switch! ACTIONS
Fly over and attack Calvin/Mimic with a punch to the chin (INcredible 40 damage)

All that shouting and blasting is enough provocation for the Captain to fly down into the cave- so she can either cram the headset on his head or hand it off to someone who can.
ACTION: Flying down, holding an action until I can get a bead on either "Calvin" or Vision.

Wanda takes the helmet, hoping the commotion in the chamber will allow her to remain undetected. Miming a stifled yawn, she weaves a hex.
One by one, small cave flowers blossomed, spreading an invisible aroma into the air. Gleefully, she incants:
"And now my beauties...Something attractive to the eye, and soothing to the smell! Poppies! Poppies! Poppies will put them sleep."

[[OOC: Wanda wants to create some kind of sleep effect that will only effect Calvin. I assume this is doable with her hex powers, but if I need to edit, I can.

The Vision's beam goes right where he wants it, breaking the lever before the young man can pull it. Starfox and Captain Marvel then fly into the room, but not in time to reach the teen on the raised platform. As the young man tries to repair the lever, poppies start to sprout from cracks in the cavern floor. "No! All I needed to do was stand under the machine, and then no power on Earth would be able to stop me! My father must not have died in vain!" Calvin cries. Then against all known probability, the device activates! It radiates the young man in a strange energy, as circuits throughout the cavern start to blow! The young man collapses and falls unmoving among a bunch of newly sprouted poppies, as the entire place looks like it will blow up within minutes! Captain Marvel Health: 40/60 Captain Marvel Karma: 12 Conditions: Energy form. Scarlet Witch Health: 46 Scarlet Witch Karma: 60 Conditions: Probability Field Alteration reduced to Good. "Starfox, grab the boy and fly out, everyone else run. There is no time to waste!" Vision says turning intangible and flying for the exit. (after making sure Wanda can escape on her own.)

Starfox is looking at his hands and wondering how he could have missed again when the call goes out to scoop up the boy and get out of there. He does so and offers a hand to anyone else that needs a lift before flying out of the cave with the young man (and anyone else) in tow. ACTIONS
Fly out of the cave with the young man and possibly anyone else who wants a lift.

As the other Avengers rush out of the cave with the unconscious Calvin, Captain Marvel checks the area in her energy form for the basketball sized object she saw through the window in time. Monica does not find it before the machines explode and the cave collapses around her intangible form. If it was there, it's crushed now.
Starfox brings Calvin safely out of the cavern to where the Scarlet Witch waits with the helmet. As the Vision floats toward them, the only thing left to do is put the headset on Calvin's head and activate it.
