Okay now let me create a couple NPCs to "lead" the team.
Gizmo Man: Anthony Rockafeather is a mutant with the body of a cartoon duck and the heir to a massive fortune built on the back of an industrial and defense tech empire. He is a founding member of the team and his money is largely what funds the group. He has no real superpowers save for a red and silver suit of armor equipped with many devices for fighting crime.... some more useful than others.
Captain Bear-Arms: Nathan Randall Anderson is a former marine who took part in a government supersoldier project. He was the only "success" by which I mean he was the only one not killed in the process armed with limited super strength and speed Nathan goes out to defend Truth Justice and the Second Amendment with a big ass arsenal of weapons.

Oh, so it's more of a comedy/parody. That's not really what I was hoping for. Someone like Skadi might be funny, though.
I kinda think that a game like City of Mist might be more suited for this.

I admit I might be emphasizing the comedy/spoof aspect a bit too much.
Also I do not know City of Mist. I only know MURPG and some bits of MSH unfortunately.
