They become infected with fear and anger, rejecting humanity for 1 day/Durability AN, after which they will die and turn into a Gnosis themselves. At GM's discretion, some Actions/powers may be able to cure this effect - such as another touch by Kobeni willing just that - and gods/cosmic entities/eldritch abominations and similarly powerful beings may be immune to this effect. - Indoctrination (Int.bonus, Atk VS Int + Mental Defense, Area Effect 3; affects organic beings within close range of the user, dealing 'fake' mental damage, 1w per 3 stones passing through the defenses as usual, but not actually damaging the victims. Instead, once the damage equals the target's Intelligence, they gain a -1 Loyal (towards the User) Challenge, and a -1 Psychological (Delusion; the user is right and should be supported in their goals). If 'damage' continues every time it equals the victim's Intelligence adds another -1 to both challenges until they reach -5, at which point they both will be absolute and all the victims care about. - Infestation (Int.bonus; Atk VS Durability; requires physical contact. If successful, puts the victim into a coma which will last for 1 day/Durability AN of the victim, during which they will form a chrysalis. If left undisturbed until the end of the duration, the victim will come out as a Zerg Infested version of their former self, possibly with new abilities, powers and appearances based on their creator's wishes, as per Body Warping, below.)

- Steal Lifeforce (As Improved Energy Drain; also acts as Atk VS Durability to cause actual damage as the very lifeforce of the victim is drained. Up to 2x AN stones may be stored at once to be used for multiple purposes, either to recover Kobeni's own energy, heal herself, or heal others, see 'Lifeforce Healing' option in Biokinesis, below. If killed, the victim turns greyish and cold, although no medical/scientifical cause of death can be clearly identified.)
- Techno-Organic Virus (Int.bonus; Atk VS Int or Dur, target's choice; any stone of damage infects the victim with a Techno-Organic Virus' challenge (see X-Men Guide); only usable VS Non-Technarchy living beings or Constructs/Robots/Etc. Once the victim dies of the virus, they become a Techno-Organic shadow of their former self, Loyal to the user as a -5 Challenge. Control may be relinquished at user's discretion, but may be re-established at any time in the future. Alternately, may be used VS objects/inanimate matter as Atk VS Area/Weight/Hardness/Technology/Highest AN/MN, whichever is higher, to transform target matter/object into Techno-organic matter for user to consume. -This action represents Kobeni's ability to alter her body - and in some cases that of others - to spontaneously mutate/evolve/transform in multiple ways befitting her Linked Species' natures and capabilities. Its uses include the following:
- Ability Boost (Passive ability; even without actually transforming, Kobeni can increase her physical capabilities, gaining a bonus of this Action's AN which she can split between Strength, Agility, Speed, Durability, Energy Battery, Deep Reserves, Reflexive Dodge, Toughness and Flexible Skeleton as she pleases. Doing so requires no stone or action, simply willing it, though it can only be changed once per panel.)
- Acidic Blood (Passive; her blood acts as an AN 9, 2x damage, AP, After Effect acid upon contact capable of melting through most materials know to mankind. Kobeni is immune to her own acidic blood. She can switch between normal human blood, acidic blood and Kaiju Blue at will up to once per panel. Via Xenomorph.)

However, user may decide to warp a target painlessly as long as the resulting form is stable and viable. - Consciousness Transference (A passive effect allowing Kobeni's 'original/true self' to exist within any part of herself, whether connected, separate or even independent of her own, original form. In other words, completely destroying her original body would not destroy her as long as any separate part/limb/organ, or Evolved Body part - see Remote Body Evolution below - exists, as it would immediately evolve into her original self, allowing her to continue existing without consequence.)
- Consume Energy (As Improved Drain Energy; Can be used on Living beings/Machines/Energy Outlets, etc; Alternately, may be used to consume Techno-Organic Matter transformed via use of the Techno-Organic Virus at a rate of 1w of Health or 1 AN of Area/Weight per 2 stones played. A medical or magical analysis of her 'corpse' would have to beat this Action's AN to see through this effect. While in feigned death/stasis effect, the user - or target - does not need to eat, drink, breathe or sleep for the duration, is aware of their surroundings, and can snap out of it and become fully active with but a single Action spent. -Copied from a Fae'Rhal invader she defeated, Kobeni has gained the superior physiology of Fae'Rhal kind, along with numerous additional organs. Namely, she has 2 hearts, 3 lungs, 3 kidneys and a secondary brain located inside the chest cavity.
-Said organs do not naturally regenerate if damaged/destroyed, but artificial or regrown organs are not impossible with sufficiently advanced medical science.
Metroid Evolution
-If she wanted to, Kobeni could allow her Metroid DNA to empower her and alter her body and capabilities with a solid 25 character stones to enhance herself each time, allowing her to discard a husk of her former self and come out a slightly 'more Metroid' Metroid/Human hybrid every time, up to 10 times at the end of which she would be WAY more Metroid than human. If she were to be fully 'killed', she could also use this method to come back, although the aforementioned alteration would happen as well.
-Naturally, Kobeni is VERY reluctant to use this power, as she likes herself as human as possible.

-An ability gained via Dalek physiology which prevents her death if even a few cells of her being survive. Decapitation, being stabbed through the brain, heart or lungs, being crushed by a vehicle and so on would barely slow her down, if anything, and do not limit her abilities or weaken her all that much aside from the pain and damage she takes.
-In game terms, she does not suffer from negative sitmods due to extreme physical trauma of any kind, nor will she die per se unless her entire body - and any external parts - have been positively and effectively atomized. This setting allows the gun to fire the green-tinged lightning-like energy of Necron Gauss weapons, but in pistol form.)

STORY: Higashiyama Kobeni used to be a Public Safety Devil Hunter for the Tokyo Special Division 4. Not out of her own accord, mind you, but she picked - arguably - the lesser evil between being forced to become a sex worker, and this, due to her abusive family's pressure and wilful disregard for her own wishes to the benefit of her brother.
Such a career was rather ill-suited for her, as Kobeni was far from brave or enjoying combat and putting her life on the line; in fact, she was arguably one of the most cowardly and fearful members to ever join Public Safety. That being said, she did show potential, as she could be a very agile and lethal fighter when cornered, albeit she was much more likely to collapse under pressure before she could do much in general.
Eventually, after barely surviving an encounter with an extremely powerful Devil who caused the death of several of her friends and caused her to temporarily end up in Hell, Kobeni decided to resign, hoping to start a new, normal life away from both her horrible family, and the terrifying adventures of a Devil Hunter.
However, as fate would have it, that was not to be. Unknown Powers that Be were, at the time, attempting to come up with a way to contain the threat posed by some of the most dangerous, most threatening and terrifying species in the Multiverse. And for that purpose, they decided to empower a person with their might, and the authority to control them at will... while making the Multiverse safer by giving those abilities to one of the weakest-willed, most unassertive and least aggressive people on the planet.
And that person... was Higashiyama Kobeni.
