A while ago DK23 was going to run a game called "The Guard." The game never got off the ground but I loved the character that I designed for the game. I am looking for someone who would be willing to GM a one-shot for me. The following is my original write up. DK23's game was going to be 60 stones plus challenges. That's why the stones and challenges don't add up for forty stones. If the GM is okay with it I would not be opposed to other players coming on board as Guard members. Also I have already created several villians for you to choose from. With out further ado here is:
The Legend
Think, "What would happen if Superman died and Superboy had to fill his place in the JLA?"
Solomon Davies is "The Legend." But that is not who he was made to be. Three years to the day after he was released from his accelerated growth chamber his life was shattered. Solomon is a genetically altered clone of the original Legend, David Davies. By all accounts David was the greatest superhero to ever tread the planet earth. That was until David was killed in a brutal battle with an alien race of space wanderers who were attempting to harvest all of the oxygen from the earth. In a last ditch effort to save humanity David decimated the plasma containment field of the alien craft and vaporized every ship and satellite in a 50 mile radius. The world was safe and the Legend was dead.
Now the Guard, the greatest superhero team ever, has reassembled and it is missing a Legend. Solomon had diligently studied for three years to join David as his side-kick. That can never happen now. The purpose for Solomon Davies' existence was to assist the Legend. His cloning process was not perfect. He simply can't match the original's power, skill, or intellect.
Ideally, Solomon Davies would have finished his training under the tutelage of another great hero but times are too dire. With the reuniting of the Guard, the United Nations and the President of the United States has "requested" that Solomon take up the mantle of "the Legend." Initially Solomon resisted but finally he relented. Laying aside his personal grief over the loss of his father for the good of the world. Solomon Davies, with the mind of young man of 20, has agreed to try to be "the Legend." Little does Solomon know that he is trying to carry a burden that even David Davies couldn't bear.

The Legend's Rogues Gallery:
1. The Amii'. These are the race of aliens that tried to harvest the earth's oxygen in my character's origin story, resulting in the death of the original Legend. They are roughly as advanced as the Shi'ar.
2. Ravager. A scientific genius specializing in Powered Armor and Robots. He originally worked for the government in the defense department and then decided to become the government. The original Legend foiled his first plot and he vowed revenge. That vengence will never come now and he has shifted his rage to the new Legend.
3. Ageless. A being rumored to be immortal and known to be immoral. His mastery of the ground has allowed him to believe that he is the god of the earth. He takes exception to any who do not agree with him.
4. Decadence. Her Phermonal powers allow her to mass huge followings of men that feed her need for attention and her want for material possessions. She has recently emerged so she was not one of the Legend's original foes.
5. The Horde. A group of super powered mutants, all very attractive, who are forming their own 'super hero' group. Their purpose is to replace the Guard and take over the world once their numbers are sufficient.
6. Rage. The original attempt to clone the Legend. Mentally unstable but has more raw power than the current Legend. Out to prove he is the rightful heir to the mantle of the Legend. Largely supported by the public.
