OOC: So, how do we feel fellas? Follow the detour or is there an alternative?

OOC: I do believe it's up to our driver, ultimately.

OOC: I do believe it's up to our driver, ultimately. OOC: Well everybody has a vote and I believe he asked all of your opinions too.

OOC: In that case... Steve holds the same opinion. 20 minutes wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. It's not like there's a big chance of the car breaking down just outside the asylum or anything.

OOC: The rule abiding RA believes we should follow the sign. Besides, this detour could mean an additional 20 minutes with Angelica snuggling up to him.

OOC: Angelica's 'asleep', so her vote doesn't really count for much (besides, she's too busy getting Rick all hot-and-bothered to care). But I think we should follow the detour...

OOC: I am going to move this along tommorow at some point so right now I have 3 votes to follow the detour. So if no one else objects that's what we'll do.

I may add that I put 3 stones in driving to drive really cautious for a while.

Erik slowly cruises down the dark road. The stretch goes for about a mile when another detour blocks your path. It points toward a dirt road. What would you do?

"God, what is this? It's like something's trying to set us off course. Seriously, we may as well turn around. It'd be easier and cheaper on us all. It's not like writing fake blogs would be tough to do." Steve was getting iritable; he hasn't had his headphones on for a bit, and the monotonous detours are just a bit much for him to take lightly.

Oh man, that dirt road looks bumpy. Angelica's head bobbing up and down in Rick's lap is the last thing he needs. (Or is that exactly what he needs?) Regardless of the true answer, Rick responds as such:
"Robert Frost said to take the road less traveled, which this definately is. However, I for one prefer to actually eat buffalo wings, instead of just reading about them in a bogus blog entry. Perhaps we can still get back on the highway heading in the opposite direction and then turn around at the next exit?"

Riding around on a bumpy dirt road did not seem like the kind of thing that Josh was interested in. He had not gotten to use the crapper back at the station and therefore would like to avoid sudden jarring. Still this might be the quickest way to a restroom. As the group continued to whine about their situation Josh was pretty sure that riding in the trunk might be preferable to this group.
"Look guys let's just take the detour and be done with it. I'm ready to eat."

"Yeah, detour." Andrew waves his hand dismissively. He lays back with a glazed, bored, look in his eye. Wish that babe was using me as a pillow. And a lot of other things.

Erik turns the car and begins driving the dirt road slowly. The ride is rough and very bumpy, unfortunately for Josh. As the car goes deeper into the woods and the night sky is getting darker, the light of the full moon shines like a spotlight upon the car. The road is so rough, it is impossible to type and if you are trying to sleep that would be impossible too. POP!
The sound is like a firecracker or gunshot. The car begins to spin out of control, Erik you better get this car straight before you crash!
