Just a thought:
What about a game where a character (Preferrably highly durable), like the Hulk, Galactus (unlikely), Thor, etc. faces foe after foe, but they don't start fresh for every villain.
Essentially what I mean is that if, say the Hulk was doing this: He fights Abomination and wins Then he immediately faces... let's say Venom (to be random), but he starts with the health and energy he had during the last turn against Abomination (Of course he still has a healing factor).
With someone like Galactus, that would be a lot of people, but it's interesting to think about what it would be like if it was someone like Spider-man or Batman.
I suppose it's kind of like what Bane did to Batman, sending villain after villain at him to wear him out.
Back to the point, what do you think?

Seems...brutal, especially if one didn't have a healing factor. But with someone like Wonder Man, there isn't really a threat at all.
I think the most fun would be had without anything higher than a normal healing factor, as there'd be a real challenge in staying alive.

Some interesting possibilities: - The Punisher - Wolverine - The Leader (I almost dare someone to do that one) - Darth Maul (Or any Jedi/Sith) - Green Goblin

I'd do one as the Punisher.

You guys set it up, and I'm fairly sure I could think my way through a lot of my opponents.

Kind of like The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe....

What I think would be really cool is if two guys get to fight the most opponents they can, facing either two opponents at a time more or less to their respective power level, or one particularly strong they must unite to beat... and I think Wolverine and the Punisher would make a great team. (But that's not the point here, now isn't it?) Anyway, if you do that only with the punisher, that'll be something to see. ^^

I've taken an army of vampires as the Punisher before, all super powered. But, hey, if someone ran a one shot where I played Punisher and Stark played Wolvie, and then put us against a whole bunch of baddies, I'd totally be down.

Wolverine's one of my favorite Marvel characters (okay... well, one of my 100 favorites anyway), but I'd totally play him in such a battle. Don't want to steal your spotlight, however, E.P There was once a battle in one of my Marvel comics, with Blackheart, the son of Mephisto, against a team made up of the Punisher and Wolverine as well as Ghost Rider (but I don't like him much). They looked like a great team from my point of view, it'd be nice to fight with both together.

You need to check out the comic...aaand, I can't remember who wrote it, but, it's a Wolvie/Punisher where they go to an island full of criminals. Seriously, some of the best writing ever in that comic. And I could care less about spotlight! What's the fun if there isn't someone for Punisher to be dry to?

Yeah. I guess I like to suggest new home rules for those who needs it as often as possible, if that can make someone's game funnier, so much the better. Also, I've applied for two games and discussed each deeply, without mentionning (well... I'm actually mentionning it )the fact I've made the C.A.Ds for most of the important characters from Hellsing... and started GMing a game on it. Posts add on fairly fast, I agree. (especially when considering the fact I registered on November 5th. ^^) Feel free to outrun me (not like it's a race or anything ^^)
