The last attack knocked spidey unconscious for 2 pannels! Sorry, since the last attack only caused 1 red stone of damage, Spidey can't be knocked out. The red stones of damage must exceed the white stones of Health for this rule to come in to play. (See page 12 of the MURPG rulebook.) Now if you want to not defend from the attacks of 7 and 4 against Spidey right now, that can knock him out... but for a lot longer than 2 panels. Thanks. |

Spidey Hurt from the blows knows he needs to get some distance from his arch-nemsis.He shots a web and zips to the highest reaches of the old printing room.
Action- 2 stones to web sling away
action- 1 stone in speed to web sling away fast

Great, now there was two villains attacking him, and the thing seemed to be tied up by those tentacles. "THING!! Pull yourself together and break free, we gotta keep going or these evil dours will win!!"
Spiderman and Captain Marvel wasent doing to well neither, but at the moment, all cap could was pray that something would turn the tide of this battle.

*Ben reflects over the things in his mind. Alicia, Frankie, and the flight that changed him into this.....
His thoughts were all he had right now as he could feel the tentacles crush even his rock hardened bones. His insides were begining to feel the strain.
In his own world, a voice shatters the thoughts in Ben's head....
"THING!! Pull yourself together and break free, we gotta keep going or these evil dours will win!!"
What would Alicia say? Ben couldn't let himself go like this. He had people who needed him, more then he needed to escape himself.
Ben sucked in all the breath his lungs would allow, his chest expanding. He could feel the blood in his body running to every part of him. His arms began to ache under the strain of the rush of blood against the tightening tentacles.
Ben looked deep into himself for every bit of strength he had. He began to push back against the tentacles, he was not going to go like this!!!!*

Spider-Man
One of the presses proves that tentacles are not it's only weaponry, by firing a laser beam right at Spider-Man!
Just in the nick of time Spidey's webline lifts him towards the ceiling, causing the laser to carom off of the mirror behind him. With the reflecting laser beam in the way, Doctor Octopus is unable to reach his arachnic-power themed foe.
"Curse you Spider-Gnat!" the villianous Dr. Octopus shouts, as his web-slinging foe zips up past the hovering Beetle toward the skylights.
Spider-Man's Health: 2/4
Spider-Man's Energy: 3/6
SPIDER-SENSE!: The Beetle now has you in his sights. A printing press also fired a rocket at Spider-Man! Stones against him are 7 and 6!
Thing
The Thing struggles against the tentacles, but then the unexpected happens. The press sprays a sedative gas in his face!
Captian America's words encourage the Thing to fight the sedative, but just barely. The rocky powerhouse has loosened the coils entangling him, but now the drug is begining to take effect on his nervous system!

Captain America
The Scorpion bullrushes Captain America, forcing him back into the old Globe press building. As the pair charge past Radioactive Man, Steve dodges a blow from the living reactor's powerful fist. Scorpion and Captain America then come to a stop against one of the active presses.
"I'll enjoy killing you!" Scorpion says breathing his foul odor over the top of Cap's shield. The two are face to face with only the red, white and blue shield between Cap and the deadly Scorpion.
"Not if I kill him first," Radioactive Man challenges from a few feet behind the Scorpion. His fists begin to mist with a toxic green energy.

Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel launches herself in light form toward what appear to be normal skylights, but are actually solor converters! It absorbs her and traps her in the the storage batteries as sentient electricity. This doesn't harm her, but she can't return to human form until she escapes!

Captain Marvel's Energy: 3/6
[CM doesn't have to spend Energy to remain in Energy form while trapped.. because she has no choice. She's stuck as a form of electrical energy right now.]

Cap Wont be able to hold out against both of them for long. But both of them seemed pretty eager when it came to killing him... Maybe he could play them out against eachother, giving himself some time to recover and help the others.
"No offence lantern, but i would rather fight tails here!!" Cap then tries to keep Gargan between himself and the Radioactive man, trying to enhance the feeling of: "he's in the way", and hopefully, it will give him some protection against the radioactive man.

Spiderman sensing the rocket leaps right at the beetle, hopeing the rocket will follow. “If I time this just right.” spidey thinks to himself and waits for the last possible second to fire his web shooters and swing away!
Action spidey uses 2 stones towards acrobatics to spring near beetle and 1 stone to websling to zip away before the rockets hit.
Defense 2 acrobatics 1 websling +3 reflexive dodge

The rocket strikes the Beetle, but the blast still knocks Spider-Man for a loop.
Does Spidey?:
A. Suffer 3 red stones of damage reducing Health from 2 to 1.
or
B. Fall unconscious for 6 Panels.

Captain America
Scorpion smacks his tail against the rim of Captain America's shield in a failed attempt to bat it to the side.
"Outta the way Scorpion, I already tried that!" Radioactive Man warns. Too impatient to wait for Scorpion to get lost, Radioactive Man releases his nausiating energy at the whole area.
Captain America is forced to gag but so is Scorpion. The only thing near them not affected is the printing presses' tentacles that take advantage of Captain America's weakness to wrap around him!

The concussive force of the blast sends Spiderman slamming into the wall than he falls to the ground. He tries to get up but the pain! “Guess I’ll miss the birthday party!” is the last thing Spidey thinks before all goes black.
Action: laying there knocked the !@$#% out

Thing and Spider-Man (sort of)
Ben hears a loud explosion above him. Two things fall nearby the Thing; a neurolizer rifle and the Beetle with a large scorch mark on his chest. The rifle is just inches away.
Mr. Grimm then feels a warm sensation on his back. One of the presses is flambaying him with a flame thrower. Well, at least it's trying too. This machine is no Human Torch. The Thing has suffered worse burns on vacation in Tahiti.
Ah, Tahiti, a nice place to relax and nap in the sun... Dammit, that gas is really getting to him, and here comes Doctor Octopus, carrying an unconscious Spider-Man in one of his mechanical tentacles! Wake up Ben! Wake up!
Thing's Health: 5/6 [The flame thrower did no damage.]

The Scorpion falls to his knees and spews on the floor between Captain America and the Radioactive Man.
"Next time don't get in my way," the Chinese villian says, while backing away a step to avoid the smell.
As if understanding that some spray is needed to cover up the stench, the tentacles grappling Captain America spray a sedative gas in his face.
Scorpion tripping Radioactive Man with a sweep of his tail is the last thing Steve Rogers sees before he's knocked out.
