Thing grabs the rifle, just before the tentacles of the nearest newspaper press grab him!
"Fool. Did you really think you could defeat me?" Doctor Octopus taunts, as the tentacle grappling Ben Grimm sprays a second dose of knockout gas in his face.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!
Thing sees the rifle shoot at Doctor Octopus, freezing him where he stands, just before Ben's eyelids close for a long, long time.
Captain Marvel
Monica Rambeau, trapped as electricity in the building's circuits, finds herself suddenly pulled toward a converter. Moments later she is painfully transformed into normal light and emitted out of one of the lights over the presses.
The strain causes her to immediately change to flesh and blood human form, were she sees Radioactive Man visciously pummeling a beaten and bloody Scorpion. Doctor Octopus appears frozen, standing over the prone body of the Thing. However, before Captain Marvel can act, she is pricked by a stun dart shot from one of the functional presses. It's potent sedative spreads quickly through the heroine's bloodstream, and she immediately falls unconscious.
