There would be a chance that the shield simply would ricochet on the walls and harm them. "Thing, trie and release it in a half tilded angle, that ill prevent it from bouncing of the walls." =====================================

Captain America and the Thing Ben Grim follows the instructions of Captain America and the Shield flies just molecules away from Captain America's shoulder before coming to a stop after crashing against the wall.
Steve Rogers now appears to be safe, but the Thing is not. When the Thing let go of the sling-shot, a million volts surge through the metal grate he's standing on!

Captain Marvel Captain presses against the wall of her cell as microwave energy, but finds herself repelled. Like the waves in a microwave oven, she can only get cookin' on the inside. No, not the Force from Star Wars. The disturbance is a flickering of the magnetic force field helping to make the walls of Monica's prison a reflector of all wavelengths she's tried, even radiowaves. Monica doesn't know what is causing this power disturbance, but this could be the opening she needs to escape!

Spiderman needs to get out of here, becoming a soggy rag was not in his plans today plus there is a party he needs to get to! Seeing the hatch over head moves up the wall toward it, waiting he watches the water for a tentacle to appear and then attempts to web it, and try and tie his webbing around the hatch lever. Action 1 wall crawl to hatch, 3 to ranged combat + 6 for web shooters to entangle a web around the tentacle and wrapped around the hatch lever.

Spider-Man Hanging from the ceiling, Spider-Man can't see a thing in the dark, inky waters. However, where his vision fails, his trusty Spider-Sense succeeds. Just as tencales reach out for him, Parker sprays the tentacles with his web fluid, ensuring that the giant squid is webbed to the hatch in the ceiling. Still, the tiny hatch does not open, and now the room is now completely flooded with water!

*Ben could feel the electricity pulse over his rocky skin, the sheer magnitude of the shock had him paralized as every nerve in his body screamed. It took alot to hurt the rock giant, but this was sure one of the ways. Ben only hoped that Cap would get him off this death bed soon. *

Cap had to get Thing of the platform. He ran over to get his shield. If he tackled the Thing with his shield first, the shield should absorb some of the energy, but would he be able to get him away from the platform? But after that escape, he would have to gather his strength. "HOLD ON THING!! Ill trie and get you out of that trap." ==============================================

Captain Marvel Hard radiation is a term used to describe high-energy electromagnetic radiation, typically high energy X-rays or gamma rays. The term refers to the ability of the rays to penetrate a given thickness of material, typically a lead shield or atypically a vibranium-steel alloy box.
Whatever is causing the electical fluctuation in the magnetic field is sapping enough power to let Captain Marvel's hard radiation form pass through the field and out of her reflective prison!
Monica can now see that she was locked in a large box in the loading docks area of the Globe Press Building.

Captain Marvel errupts from the box in a flash of deadly energy. She instantly becomes solid again and plummets to the floor. She fills her lungs with air and lays on the ground. She is wiped out and a little traumatized, so she's gonna wait it out for a second. ============ She will just rest and get some energy this Panel.

Cap flexes his muscles... The vibranium in his shield should easily be able to absorb the energy, but hes not sure if he would be able to move his much larger ally. But Thing was being fried. Cap dident have the time to think this over... He starts running toward the Thing and leaps at him shield first, trying to tackle him so that they both are knocked off the platform. ==============================================
