Jennifer struggles to regain control. Is this how Bruce feels when the rage overtakes him? Is that happening to her? No, she doesn't feel angry. Panicked. But not angry. Something else. Something else is doing this.
She lifts the red car clear over her head as she throws it at the Thing, all against her better judgment and free will.

As She-Hulk picks up the car to use as a weapon, the Thing takes hold of a huge chunk of pavement to use as a shield.
Rock beats scissors. Scissors cuts paper. Paper rubs out rock. ...And flying Chevy demolishes blacktop defense.
"UNGH!"
Ben Grimm wonders if somebody declared it National Swat-The-Thing Day and forgot to tell him.
"I'm doing this to you, fool woman!" A high-pitched male voice shouts inside She-Hulk's mind. "I am your master. The Puppet Master!"

The Puppet Master!? It makes sense that Philip Masters, the crazed opponent of the Fantastic Four, was using some of the powerhouses of the superhero community to attack his old enemy.
Knowing her opponent, she struggles within herself to wrest her body from The Puppet Master's control. She tries to control her eyes as they dart to a new heavy object to clobber the Thing with, but she wants to see where The Puppet Master is. He may be able to control her, but he must be able to see the action somehow. A camera, something.
Can she tell the Thing what's going on? She struggles to see if she can move her mouth.

[OOC question from dorkknight23: This might be a silly question, but how much control over my body do I have?] [OOC answer from andyman: This might be a silly answer, but She-Hulk's body is like putty in the Puppet Master's hands.] She-Hulk can't control where her eyes look, but trying hard enough, she can focus on the edge of her field of vision. Jennifer Walters then spots someone in a trench-coat and fedora watching from the shadows. However, she isn't able to get a real good look at them. The Jade Giantess then finds that she is also unable to move her own mouth! "So, She-Hulk-- looks like yer playin' the deaf an' dumb routine too, huh?" The Thing says ripping up part of the street like it's a carpet. She-Hulk's Health: 4/5 She Hulk's Energy: 11/15

She-Hulk tries to struggle with her body, feeling completely powerless to control her mouth. She wished she could yell out. "He's over there! Over there!" But she couldn't. She tried to swing her fist slightly in the direction of the trenchcoated figure, ever so slightly, even the slightest bit, so The Thing would be knocked near the Puppet Master.

Having She-Hulk wrestle with the Thing wasn't the Puppet Master's all-time best tactical decision. "Now how's about we talk a little, gorgeous?" The Thing proposes. "I can't take any more of this silent treatment!""I don't believe it!" that annoying voice in She-Hulk's head exclaims. "She-Hulk is loosing too!""Huh? Who's that?!?" She-Hulk struggles to break free, but the Thing has her wrapped up too tight! "...but there must be someone strong enough. Unless," the annoying voice in Jennifer's mind continues, "perhaps strength alone is not the answer...""I think I know what's goin' on, toots." The Thing says to She-Hulk, after glancing into the alley. "You got a visitor inside yer head, don'tcha?"At the same time, She-Hulk also catches a better glimpse of the stranger stalking from the shadows. It's an albino She-Hulk! Okay, that's weird. Wonder if every day is this weird for superheroes...
She-Hulk's gamma-charged muscles seem to be resting, preparing to try to burst free again.
(OOC: No action this panel, accumulating energy.)

"Awright, Puppet Master! So you're the one that's been torturin' me! I thought we'd seen th' last a' you, but yer th' only one I know of can do this kinda stuff."
"Well, if there is any justice in the world, you'll feel, THIS!"The Thing then clobbers She-Hulk over the head, knocking her unconscious. "I've fought some tough battles in my time, but havin' ta hit my friends has made this one a the hardest!"THE END OOC: Sorry to have to put you down like that dorkknight23, but She-Hulk is needed over in the Havoc on the Homefront! thread. Also, you have earned 3 Lines of Experience for playing She-Hulk here. By outing the Puppet Master earlier than in the official story from The Thing #5, you've prevented this scene of mass destruction from happening. (Plus what appears on pages 19 and 20 of Thing #6, but that two page spread of devastation will ruin my comic's binding if I scan it.) Great job dorkknight23!!!!
