Overjoyed she didn't have to snuff the life of innocent flora, She-Hulk leaps up to grab the Wizard. "Don't worry, Wizard, I've got you..."

"T-thanks, Captain." Scarlet Witch said, a soft smile on her face as she could feel a rush of warmth through her body at the praise... It felt good to see that she could do some good.
For now though, she tried to catch her breath, as she felt winded from the exertion.

"Oh, I'm sorry, here, let me let you GO!" She-Hulk pushes, hard, the full of her strength, to push the Wizard down to the ground faster, furthering what gravity was already beginning. His own flight devices would right this, she realized, but she just needed to give Cap a few seconds to connect with his shield...

Again, he loosed the shield, this time trying to knock the Wizard out.. and quickly.

Action 2: Nothing
Attack: 14 stones (AP) to knock the Wizard out (hopefully) before he can detonate the bomb (and hoping theres no deadmans switch)

Wandas eyes followed the Wizards to the mine still in her possesion... Acting quickly, she turned to throw the bomb back towards the building, wanting to keep it as far away as possible incase the worse were to happen.

The Wizard groans when he is pushed solidly into Captain America's shield. Just before lapsing into unconsciousness, he sees the Scarlet Witch throw away the detonator. "...idiots..." The Wizard murmurs before conking out. Later, the Avengers learn that there is no bomb on the end of that detonator. The Scarlet Witch had already separated the trigger from the fuse line inside the estate! Eventually, the Wasp and Starfox arrive to help repair the damaged Quinjet. "Congratulations," the Wasp cheers. "It looks like you had a bit of excitement." Starfox has a ho-hum look on his face that tells the others that it had to be more exciting than their search of the scenic Bronx! Yes, Ms. Chairwoman, I'd say you did! Captain America, the Scarlet Witch and Wasp all earn 3 LOEs for completing this adventure. Next: Guest stars and more in... I Want To Be an Avenger! |
