Ever a man of the people, Cap couldn't resist the opportunity to help out. Always good to put in an honest days work, between battling threats to Freedom and Liberty! ************************************************

"Thanks, Cap!" The maintenence crew express their appreciation for Captain America's help, however... ...the way the Avengers Chairperson, Wasp, is flitting all over the place, it's wonder how any of them are getting any work done! Captain America's Health: 4/4 Captain America's Energy: 10/12

Cap doubted his ability to outwit Wanda and send her on some kind of errand and let the men work, so instead he stopped handing out orders of his own and simply doubled his work efforts. **************************************************
Action 1: 4 stones into Strength to help with the work
(OOC: Shouldn't my Energy have been full at the start of the panel? With x2 natural healing rate, don't I regen 1 extra energy for every 2 health?)

FYI: The Wasp's name is "Janet", not "Wanda". :-) Also, the 2X Natural Healing does not give the Energy regeneration bonus that Healing Factor does. (At least the way I play it.)

"Careful with that torch! Let's keep our seams straight!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Janet Van Dyne's is in charge here, and Steve Rogers decides he has to let her handle things as best she can. Her methods do seem to bring results, their just not Captain America'smethods, that's all.
Something else is bothering Captain America though. As he works, his mind drifts to Wanda Maximoff. Outside the construction area, the Scarlet Witch is in the hastily assembled Auxiliary Medical Center, keeping watch over her injured husband, the Vision.

(*wonders why he made her Wanda... esp. since his char is married to her in another game...*
Sorry, x2 Healing comes with the increased regen rate in the Spidey guide, I'm used to seeing it used that way. Cool)
Cap greeted WANDA with a congenial nod. Heya Scarlet! You alright, after all that business with the Darkholders?

Wanda looked up with a world-weary smile on her face, nodding before her attention returned to the pod, her gloved hand stroking across the glass, over Visions head.
"I am fine, thank you for your concern... Things could have turned out worse." She said, nodding softly.

The Vision's condition hasn't worsened, but it hasn't improved any, either. Sometimes it's like torture for the Scarlet Witch, watching him lying there, so helpless, and she can't even touch him.
It pains Captain America that those two were just starting to make a life for themselves, and this had to happen! Of all the Avengers who went up against Annihilus, it was this pair of reservists who suffered the most.
While he might like to stay and keep Wanda company, Captain America scheduled Starfox for a workout in the basement-level gymnasium at three o'clock.

After patting the Scarlet Witch on the shoulder in an effort to reassure her, Cap spoke briefly to Vision, whether the android could hear him or not. Pleasant dreams. Your bravery earned you some rest... but don't be long. We need you here.
With that, he turned and headed off to his training session with Starfox.

You'd better believe it, Brian!
She-Hulk kept the pace as she runs through Midtown. She gets a few shocked glares, but she's half-oblivious and half-uninterested as she listens to Brian Wilson and The Boys. She's jogging, working out those gamma-infused muscles, not that she needed to improve them much more. Besides, she wants to look her best, and maybe show off how nice she looks as the gamma-powered goddess that she is.
She hums to herself, how does it go...?: ..."And the southern girls with the way they talk/They knock me out when I'm down there/The mid-west farmers daughters really make you feel alright/And the northern girls with the way they kiss/They keep their boyfriends warm at night/I wish they all could be California girls..."

It's still odd for Captain America to think of Wanda and the Vision as reservists. They were both active Avengers for so long.
The Avengers have gone through so many changes lately. They've picked up two fine new Avengers in Captain Marvel and the She-Hulk, but they've lost Hank Pym and Iron Man. Even Thor has taken himself off the active roster to pursue a personal mission.
With Iron Man gone, the only Avenger around with any scientific expertise is their extra-terrestrial trainee, Starfox... who is just about 20 seconds away from being late for his daily training session.

No reason to put good time to waste. Cap leaned his shield up against the wall and leapt into the air, grabbing the aerial rings and spinning himself into an acrobatic routine that he had practiced so many times, he could execute it without thinking or paying attention... which let him think... or just go blank... whatever the situation warranted.
Tony, Hank, and Thor gone... it was all so strange. Change was one thing, though, that Captain America was well used to. *****************************************************
