Hey, inspired by Psistrike's Action, I decided to base a character around it. However, I've modified it a little; this is just here as a reference for the character when I list him.
<<EDIT: Added the stones-of-health options.>>
PSI-ARMOR
Cost = Action Number + 2
Description
Similar to Psi-Weapon, this is the ability to spontaneously manifest psionic armor for a defensive barrier during combat. It is a persistent manifestation, lasting until combat is over. Allocate up to your Action Number of stones (all at once, not spread over Panels). These stones then remain in the Action Box and are continually used as an extra defense (similar to Toughness.) The armor may be used in the same Panel that it's created in. The player chooses the visual form of the armor.
Options
Comments
Note that this Action may have variants, like Ice Armor, or Armor of Light. Buying the Action with a number of options is a good way to get a lot of utility and reusability out of a few stones.
Rule for Action Box:
Example(s)
Rook is working in his garage when an explosion occurs outside. He immediately powers up his armor by putting a full 5 stones into his Action Box (he has Psi-Armor at Action Number of 5.) He now can make use of the armor without having to continually put stones into it. Since he bought the Flight option, he takes off toward the explosion at 5 stones of speed, supplied freely from the armor.
