I was reading a post earlier about duel wielding pistols. Great idea but the core system doesn't really cover the idea much. So, i was thiking.
+3 CL: Gun Monkey. This option allows the character to use two guns as a ranged combat action. The character may allocate stones as normal. Targeting applies to both guns, but only applies to up to it's maximum value. (i.e. if you have two pistols of +3 and a targetting of 4. you can split the free 4 stones amongs both guns. 2 for each, or 3 for 1 and 1 for the other. ) Also the character must allocate a number of stones from his energy pool for both guns. Requiring a minimum of 2 energy (1 for each gun) to be used. Each gun does count as a seperate attack when calculating damage.
Sound good?

I think that sounds pretty cool. but a +3 seems a little low considering that buying an extra weapon modifier is +5, but the idea is indeed really cool.

the reason why i think a +3 instead of a puls 5 is that the weapon modifiers don't add to each other, they are used seperatly, along with spliting your action stones.

Makes sense to me. And yeah, I guess I just missed the part where you said that they still count as seperate attacks, sorry about that. I got your meaning, and I think it sounds good.

It's still only useing one action (ranged combat) leaving the character open to do other options. running along walls and the like. The cool gun-monkey comic style.
