A new situational modifier:
+1 to resistance if your character wants to lift a (heavy) object above waist height.
This was in response to a complaint that in the comics spiderman can only pick up about 2 tons, but according to the rules of MURPG he could pick up about 5 tons.
With this house rule, he would be able to lift a car above his head, ready to throw it or smash it over somebody's head. However, he would only be able to lift the front of a lorry a couple of inches above the floor. In the game this would allow him to free somebody trapped under a lorry, but not to lift it up and throw it. Obviously, this rule requires a bit of interpretation, and GMs might need to alter the strength values of a few heroes in order to make sure that their abilities reflect those in the comics.
