Is there a section I missed in the rules that tells you how to build your own Batmobile or Blue Beetle's Bug and the like? If so, could someone please indicate where? If not, does anyone have some home-brewed rules for that? Right now I'm considering using Powered Armor rules slightly modified.

i think powered armor would be a good way to go with that one. inventing it or buying it with wealth would also be a way to go. just depends on your gm.
ps vicsage why are you a guest? i thought you were once a member?

Not sure if using the Power Armor rules are that good and idea... There is some differences from a vehicle and a power armor... Like their stats... Crew: Difficulty to Operate: Resistance to Operate: Defense Vehicle Modifier: Vehicle Damage: Maneuver Modifier: Speed: Weight: Weapons: In the book, Green goblins glider costs 6w... Know why is that?... Lets see...... Maybe: Difficulty and Resistance gives a discount in red stones. Defense cost 1w per Defense modifier. Vehicle damage cost the same as on the Costlevel chart. and teh same goes for maneuver and speed... Goblin GliderDifficulty to Operate: 4 ( -3r) Resistance to Operate: 4 (-3r) Defense Vehicle Modifier: 1 (1w) Vehicle Damage: 4 (2w) Maneuver Modifier: 4 (2w) Speed: 5 (3w) Weight: ?? Weapons: None Total: 6w BUT does this system work for other vehicles aswell??... Unfortunatly, theres no pricing on none of the other vehicles in the book... In a way i would say "no"... The Blackbird has a Vehicle Damage of 60, which would be a cost level of..... .... So the system proves that it dosent work... But ill trie and look into it... I WILL find a way... Mostly because i have a character who needs something to drive...

yeah I guess the vehicle damage thing is a problem. other than that i think it works ok. difficultly and resistance along with damage might just have to be worked out with the GM.

When people, myself included, make the “use the PA rules” suggestion we’re generally talking about it being a general guideline, not an exact science. The thing is that there aren’t any rules for custom vehicles so, in order to make one, we have to tweak the existing rules where applicable by doing things like building PA equivalents or starting with an existing vehicle and literally customizing it.

I think also that PA rules are a good starting point. Maybe creating a general rule for vehicle building could be very usefull (i WANT to make "airwolf" !) Another project that sounds interresting ...
