This write-up uses two of my own house rules: Ability Number of 0 and the Technoforming Action. Check out the House Rules forum for details.
I've approximated Taki to the best of my ability. I'm only familiar with his career during the X-Terminators mini-series (though I believe he had a handful of later appearances), so this write-up reflects him during that time period. I've read that he supposedly lost some of his power later on, but without a point of reference, I didn't want to just guess at his stats.

DESCRIPTION
Technical genius runs in Takeshi "Taki" Matsuya's family. Sadly, his parents were killed in the same accident that paralyzed him from the waist down. Despite numerous operations-including an experimental procedure involving implanted microchips intended to focus energy from his nerves to his muscles-Takeshi is completely unable to walk. Not to be held back by his handicap, Taki modified his wheelchair to be faster and more maneuverable, as well as fitting it with various pieces of technology such as a computer (complete with cellular modem). What he didn't know then was that his technical prowess was largely a result of the X-factor in his genes, making him a mutant.
Wiz Kid, as Taki was nicknamed even before taking on a "super-hero" identity, can alter the structure of physical matter to create advanced technological devices. The more similar the original device is to the item being created, the easier it is for him to modify it. Takeshi himself has speculated that the computer chips in his body have something to do with how his mutant abilities manifested.
The Wiz Kid's powers first became fully evident during the beginnings of the event known as Inferno. He was a student at Saint Simons Academy, a private special education elementary school, when the young wards of X-Factor-Artie Maddocks and Leech-were enrolled. When the N'asteris came for Artie and Leech, Taki unconsciously created laser guns on his wheelchair to attack the demons. He later turned chair into an aircraft and recruited the aid of other X-Factor protégés; Boom-Boom, Rictor, Rusty Collins, and Skids. These five would form the X-Terminators and, alongside the New Mutants, were instrumental in closing N'astirh's gate to Limbo.
