Darkhawk
Real name: Christopher Powell
ABILITIES:
Int: 2 (old game had Int as poor, but Psyche as Excellent, so this is a compromise) Str: 4 Agi: 4 Spd: 3 Dur: 4 Health: 4 Energy: 12
ACTIONS:
Close Combat: 3 -Strength or Weapon Bonus -Grappling -Claws
Combat, Ranged: 4 (Weapon mod) - Firearms - Grappling Hook
Social Skills: 3 -NYPD -Streetwise
Darkforce: 4 (from Amulet on chest) -create blast -create a shield
Flight: 2
MODIFIERS:
Targeting: +2
Claws: +1
Transform Self (between alter ego) -Gains 1 white stone if changing between forms for one panel *note- in the old system a change for one round healed him 40 points, this is the closest approximation I could think of
Enhanced Vision: +4 -telescopic -Infra-red
EQUIPMENT:
Grappling Hook: +2 -can entangle with it -material is 6 stone toughness -allows climbing at +3
Alternate Form Stats (these are the stats for Chris) Int: 1 Str: 2 Agi: 3 Spd: 2 Dur: 2
Don't know enough about the history to really decide on challenges or history, but the basic effect is that his powers and modifers that are not physical items come from his amulet.

Actually I was a huge fan back in the day. The short of it is he found an amulet that would change him into Darkhawk. He later found out that it was switching his bodies with a hidious alien in a space suit. The body that was not in use was put into stasis in a spaceship that I think was like orbiting the earth cloaked (I'm a little fuzzy on the spaceship part, it's been forever since I've read the comics.).

I was a huge fan of darkhawk back in the day as well. He was a great jack of all trades in the powers department. I would just make a few changes. Strength of 4 is a bit low, that would only make him as strong as Wolverine, DH has been klnown to rip metal doors off. Strength of 5 I think. His darkforce Blast/shield # of 4 was way too low. He was able to actually hurt Ironman with it I think that a 6 is better maybe even 7. One last thing, not how it would fit in really but he was able to scare the bejesus out of someone if he took off his helmet. Also while mental powers do work on him he is technicaly a robot, while in his DH form.

Actually DH was not a robot. He was an alien in a battle suit. His powers came from the suit. There was a time when he took off his helmet to see what he looked like inside. They never actually showed his face but his reaction was that he was pretty scary.

i would say to write up the DarkHawk persona as a PA like a transformation.. instead of just buying everything as normal with the transform self, spend his alter ego (Darkhawk) like buying a PA.
